| CVE-2026-113874 | 1 Smilecdr | 1 Hapi Fhir | 2026-10-23 | 8.1 High |
| SmileCDR HAPI FHIR allows an untrusted bundle body to replace a partition identity previously established by a trusted source, and does not enforce storage partition entitlement by default. An attacker authorized for one tenant can read from or write to another tenant's partition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113873 | 1 Smilecdr | 1 Hapi Fhir | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| SmileCDR HAPI FHIR does not properly handle highly compressed data, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to send compressed payloads that exhaust server heap or crash certain services when decompressed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112342 | 2026-10-23 | 7.1 High | ||
| Tandoor Recipes before 2.7.0 contains an improper cache-key design in cookbook/helper/permission_helper.py that allows authenticated users to retain stale group-based permissions across different spaces by exploiting a cache key keyed only on user id while omitting the active space, with the cached entry's TTL refreshed on every request. Attackers can create their own space to obtain an admin group designation, then switch their active space to a victim space where they hold lesser privileges, causing the stale cached admin decision to authorize elevated access and bypass group revocations or demotions across multiple permission classes and views. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98778 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binder: fix is_failure flag for superseded transaction cleanup When a TF_UPDATE_TXN transaction supersedes a pending async transaction, binder_release_entire_buffer() is called with is_failure=false. Since the superseded transaction was never delivered, binder_apply_fd_fixups() was never called and no fds were installed in the target process. With is_failure=false, the BINDER_TYPE_FDA cleanup handler interprets stale buffer contents as installed fd numbers and passes them to binder_deferred_fd_close(), closing unrelated file descriptors. Pass is_failure=true since the transaction was never delivered to the target, matching the semantics of all other undelivered-transaction cleanup paths. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98779 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 1.9 Low |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix ACP MFD device leak on init failure acp_hw_init() registers ACP child devices with mfd_add_devices() before attaching them to the ACP power domain and initializing the hardware. If attaching a child to the power domain fails, or if the ACP reset or clock enable operation times out, the failure path frees only the source cell, resource, and platform-data allocations. The child platform devices already registered by mfd_add_devices() remain registered and are never released. Remove the children from the power domain and unregister the MFD devices on failures that occur after mfd_add_devices() succeeds. Keep mfd_add_devices() failures on the existing cleanup path since the MFD core already rolls back partially registered children itself. The issue was identified by a static analysis tool I developed and confirmed by manual review. (cherry picked from commit 63da68d6a2279ec945581c990c5a59a5ae8b5560) | ||||
| CVE-2026-98780 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 1.9 Low |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: fix IP instance memory leak on kobject add failure amdgpu_discovery_sysfs_ips() allocates ip_hw_instance with kzalloc_flex() and initializes its embedded kobject before calling kobject_add(). If kobject_add() fails, the return value is ignored and execution continues without dropping the initial kobject reference. The failed kobject is not retained in the kset list, so the normal sysfs teardown path cannot find it. As a result, ip_hw_instance_release() is never called and the ip_hw_instance allocation is leaked. Call kobject_put() when kobject_add() fails so the initial reference is dropped and ip_hw_instance_release() can free the allocation. Keep the existing best-effort sysfs behavior by continuing with the remaining IP entries after the failed registration. The issue was identified by a static analysis tool I developed and confirmed by manual review. (cherry picked from commit 5c75fbcca8af1096d8d9415b91d8ea6212c22ee1) | ||||
| CVE-2026-98783 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 4.1 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/mediatek: Add missing IS_ERR check for ovl_adaptor platform device platform_device_register_data() can fail and return an ERR_PTR, but the return value is used without checking, leading to an invalid pointer being stored in ddp_comp[].dev and passed to component_match_add() and mtk_ddp_comp_init(), which could result in a kernel crash. Add an IS_ERR() check to jump to the error handling path on failure. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu/gfx6: fix firmware leak on teardown The firmware requested in gfx_v6_0_init_microcode() is not released when the GFX block is torn down, leaking the firmware resources. Add gfx_v6_0_free_microcode() and call it from gfx_v6_0_sw_fini() to release the PFP, ME, CE and RLC firmware. (cherry picked from commit 386e81346f95ab0be5a82c5535de932e7a456924) | ||||

| CVE-2026-98884 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mmc: core: Add validation for host-provided max_segs The max_segs field is of type unsigned short, and if a host driver sets an excessively large value, it may be truncated to zero. This can cause mmc_alloc_sg() to call kmalloc_objs() with a zero size allocation request, which leads to undefined behavior. Under the SLUB allocator, kmalloc(0) returns a special pointer (ZERO_SIZE_PTR). The subsequent 'if (sg)' check will evaluate to true, and sg_init_table() will then attempt to access invalid memory, resulting in a crash: dwmmc_rockchip 2a310000.mmc: Successfully tuned phase to 133 mmc1: new UHS-I speed SDR104 SDHC card at address aaaa Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address 0000001ffffffff0 Mem abort info: ESR = 0x0000000096000004 EC = 0x25: DABT (current EL), IL = 32 bits SET = 0, FnV = 0 EA = 0, S1PTW = 0 FSC = 0x04: level 0 translation fault Data abort info: ISV = 0, ISS = 0x00000004, ISS2 = 0x00000000 CM = 0, WnR = 0, TnD = 0, TagAccess = 0 GCS = 0, Overlay = 0, DirtyBit = 0, Xs = 0 user pgtable: 4k pages, 48-bit VAs, pgdp=0000000102c88000 [0000001ffffffff0] pgd=0000000000000000, p4d=0000000000000000 Internal error: Oops: 0000000096000004 [#1] SMP Modules linked in: CPU: 2 UID: 0 PID: 102 Comm: kworker/2:1 Not tainted 7.0.0-rc6-next-20260331-00013-g4d93c25963c5-dirty #80 PREEMPT Hardware name: Rockchip RK3576 EVB V10 Board (DT) Workqueue: events_freezable mmc_rescan pstate: 80000005 (Nzcv daif -PAN -UAO -TCO -DIT -SSBS BTYPE=--) pc : sg_init_table+0x2c/0x50 lr : sg_init_table+0x24/0x50 sp : ffff8000837db710 x29: ffff8000837db710 x28: 000000000000c000 x27: 0000000000000300 x26: 0000000000000000 x25: 0000000000000040 x24: ffff0000c46a0000 x23: 0000000000000000 x22: ffff0000c0c73c00 x21: 0000000000000010 x20: 0000000000000010 x19: 0000000000000000 x18: 000000000000002c x17: 0000000000000000 x16: 0000000000000001 x15: 0000000000000000 x14: 0000000000000400 x13: ffff8000837dc000 x12: 0000000000000000 x11: ffff0000c0c73ca0 x10: 0000000000000040 x9 : 459ec1f0abbdbb00 x8 : 0000001fffffffe0 x7 : 0000000000000000 x6 : 000000000000003f x5 : 0000000000035579 x4 : 0000000000000901 x3 : 0000000000000000 x2 : 0000000000000000 x1 : 0000000000000000 x0 : 0000000000000010 Call trace: sg_init_table+0x2c/0x50 (P) mmc_mq_init_request+0x64/0x90 blk_mq_alloc_map_and_rqs+0x3ac/0x480 blk_mq_alloc_set_map_and_rqs+0x98/0x1e0 blk_mq_alloc_tag_set+0x1c0/0x290 mmc_init_queue+0x120/0x370 mmc_blk_alloc_req+0x150/0x420 To prevent this, add a validation check in mmc_mq_init_request() to detect when sg_len (derived from max_segs) is zero. If sg_len is zero, we return an error and print an error message, allowing host driver developers to identify and fix incorrect max_segs configuration. This is a defensive measure that ensures the MMC core fails gracefully when host drivers provide invalid max_segs values, rather than crashing with a page fault. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98886 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/gma500: return errors from Oaktrail HDMI I2C reads xfer_read() waits for the HDMI I2C transaction to reach I2C_TRANSACTION_DONE, but it ignores both timeout and signal returns from wait_for_completion_interruptible_timeout(). If the interrupt never advances the transaction state, the loop can wait forever. Return -ETIMEDOUT when the completion wait expires, propagate interrupted waits, and make the I2C master_xfer callback return the first transfer error instead of reporting a successful message count. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98929 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: macsec: initialize SecY before registering the netdevice Creating a MACsec device with MAC offload over an LRO-capable lower device triggers a warning in rtmsg_ifinfo_build_skb() when IPv4 forwarding is enabled by default. register_netdevice() invokes inetdev_init(), which disables LRO and emits a NETDEV_FEAT_CHANGE notification. This reaches macsec_fill_info() before macsec_add_dev() initializes the SecY. key_len is still zero, so macsec_fill_info() returns -EMSGSIZE and trips the WARN_ON in rtmsg_ifinfo_build_skb(), even though the skb has enough space. Even without the warning, notifications during registration can report uninitialized SecY attributes, including the SCI. This ordering has existed since the driver was introduced. Initialize the SecY and apply the new-link attributes before registration. Move MAC address inheritance into macsec_newlink() so the SCI can also be initialized before registration-time notifications report it. Move the per-CPU statistics and metadata destination allocation into ndo_init(), and release partial allocations on failure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98956 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: adau1372: allow sleepy powerdown GPIOs gpiod_set_value() emits a WARN when the GPIO provider indicates that it can sleep, as is typical for I2C controlled GPIO expanders. Since the powerdown GPIO is only manipulated in process context, use the _cansleep variant instead. This lets the driver use sleepy GPIOs to power off the chip. | ||||
