| CVE-2026-101962 | 1 Juniper Networks | 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High |
| An Improper Handling of Length Parameter Inconsistency vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an attacker sending a specifically malformed BGP EVPN multicast update which is attempted to be readvertised to cause an rpd crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53709 | 2026-10-16 | 9.8 Critical | ||
| MCP Context Forge is an MCP gateway and administrative platform. Prior to 1.0.2, mcpgateway/config.py and .env.example ship a known JWT_SECRET_KEY, while verify_jwt_token() accepts HS256 tokens signed with that key and get_current_user() creates a platform administrator when the token subject matches PLATFORM_ADMIN_EMAIL and REQUIRE_USER_IN_DB is false. A remote unauthenticated attacker can therefore mint accepted administrator tokens without a database account. While the vulnerable signing key remains configured and the platform-admin bootstrap remains enabled, forged access survives password rotation, account deletion, and session revocation, allowing administrative disclosure, modification, and service disruption. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111711 | 2026-10-16 | 9.8 Critical | ||
| Netcore NR256CN through 1.5.140116 contains a pre-authentication stack overflow vulnerability in the Boa web server's user_ok() function, which copies Basic-auth usernames with unbounded strcpy() calls into 64-byte stack buffers. Unauthenticated attackers can send a username longer than 63 bytes to any protected /router/*.cgi route to crash the main Boa process or potentially execute code. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97005 | 1 Microsoft | 13 365 Apps, Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Apps For Enterprise and 10 more | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Office PowerPoint allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101337 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Nsd | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| When base64 data is split up in pieces, of 3 character or less, tokens were incorrectly calculated to produce 0 bytes. This enables attackers to overwrite the stack with up to 64K of attacker controlled data. Zone files which are written out by NSD itself, such as for zones for which the NSD instance is secondary, will not be formatted like this. The zone file must be fed to NSD directly, (but it could come, for example, from an operator controlled provisioning system). | ||||
| CVE-2026-101338 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Nsd | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| When a SVCB or HTTPS RR has filled the wire format RDATA up to the brim, another ECH parameter may overwrite the stack, and once beyond the limit, the base64 decoder can write attacker controlled data of unlimited size. Zone files which are written out by NSD itself, such as for zones for which the NSD instance is secondary, will not be formatted like this. The zone file must be fed to NSD directly, (but it could come, for example, from an operator controlled provisioning system). | ||||
| CVE-2026-101339 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Nsd | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| A HIP resource record that fills the RDATA near or at is limit, and has another dname RDATA field (a HIP Rendezvous server) can overwrite the stack with up to 191 bytes of attacker controlled data. Zone files which are written out by NSD itself, such as for zones for which the NSD instance is secondary, will not be formatted like this. The zone file must be fed to NSD directly, (but it could come, for example, from an operator controlled provisioning system). | ||||
| CVE-2026-101341 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Nsd | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| Tokens of text in RDATA (of for example TXT records) under 32 bytes are not checked to stay within the space reserved for the RDATA allowing for arbitrary sized out of bound stack writes, including an overwrite of a callback function pointer which is called directly after parse. Zone files which are written out by NSD itself, such for zones for which the NSD instance is secondary, will not be formatted like this. The zone file must be fed to NSD directly, (but it could come, for example, from an operator controlled provisioning system). | ||||
| CVE-2026-101927 | 1 Juniper Networks | 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| A Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in eventd of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved on all platforms allows an unprivileged local attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) or achieve privilege escalation to root via crafted IPC event messages. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101310 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-10-16 | 7 High |
| The HDA audio device model did not check for zero-length Buffer Descriptor List (BDL) entries when starting a stream. A zero-length entry caused an out-of-bounds read or write during DMA transfer processing. BDL fields were also subject to modification by the guest after validation. A malicious guest can crash the bhyve process or potentially execute arbitrary code in the host userspace context running the virtual machine, subject to bhyve's Capsicum sandbox. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104040 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-16 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the Entra ID identity provider, input lookup names containing single quotes are not properly escaped before being included in Microsoft Graph Open Data Protocol (OData) queries. A low-privileged local user can exploit this flaw by submitting a crafted search request, altering query filters to broaden user or group searches. This can lead to information disclosure by retrieving unintended directory objects, as well as a Denial of Service (DoS) through excessive processing and cache population. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97744 | 1 Microsoft | 13 365 Apps, Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Apps For Enterprise and 10 more | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Office PowerPoint allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104024 | 1 Peazip | 1 Peazip | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| Incomplete List of Disallowed Inputs (CWE-184) in the dangerous-extension confirmation of the archive object viewer (peach.pas, grid_obj_open) in PeaZip 10.5.0 through 11.2.0 on Windows allows an attacker who convinces a victim to open an entry of a crafted archive to execute a program, or an arbitrary command, with no confirmation dialog. The prompt (Do you want to run this file?) is gated by SECEXTCONST, a hard-coded list of seven extensions (exe cmd msi bat ps1 vbs reg); the check is an exact string comparison of the entry extension against that list, so it answers only whether the extension is one of the seven and never whether the shell will execute the file. Shell-executable and scripting-host types that Windows runs through ShellExecuteW are absent from the list, among them .url and .lnk. An archived Windows Internet Shortcut (.url) whose URL line is attacker-controlled is launched with no prompt, while the byte-identical content in an entry named .bat does raise the warning in the same session. A .lnk entry raises the ceiling from launching a program to running a command line, because a Windows shortcut carries arguments: a proof-of-concept shortcut targeting cmd.exe with an attacker-chosen command line executed with no prompt. The shortcut target is not confined to the local disk; the shell also resolved an attacker-named UNC path (fetching a remote payload was only attempted, not demonstrated). No privilege escalation; everything runs as the user who opened the archive. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97001 | 1 Microsoft | 11 365 Apps, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Office Ltsc 2021 and 8 more | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100130 | 1 Adobe | 1 Substance 3d Sampler | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| Substance3D - Sampler is affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. | ||||

An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100126 | 1 Adobe | 1 Adobe Bridge | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| Bridge is affected by an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to disclose sensitive information. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. | ||||
| CVE-2025-29897 | 1 Qnap Systems | 1 Qsync Central | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| A buffer copy without checking size of input vulnerability has been reported to affect Qsync Central. If a remote attacker gains a user account, they can then exploit the vulnerability to modify memory or crash processes. We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version: Qsync Central 5.0.0.4 and later | ||||
| CVE-2026-77396 | 2 Pjsip, Teluu | 2 Pjproject, Pjsip | 2026-10-16 | 7.1 High |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.17 and earlier, the PJSIP AVI parser in pjmedia/src/pjmedia/avi_player.c uses an input-file video chunk length as the number of bytes copied into a frame buffer whose capacity is derived from the declared media dimensions. A crafted AVI file can therefore cause an attacker-controlled out-of-bounds write past the heap allocation when an application plays the file or pulls its frames. The existing size assertion does not protect production release builds, where assertions are disabled. Typical local playback can crash the process, while applications that accept untrusted AVI sources expose a stronger memory-corruption condition. No fixed version is available as of this review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89671 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-16 | 9.1 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: gate nfs3 setacl by argp->mask nfsd3_proc_setacl() calls set_posix_acl() unconditionally for both ACL_TYPE_ACCESS and ACL_TYPE_DEFAULT, passing argp->acl_access and argp->acl_default verbatim. The NFSv3 ACL decoder only populates those pointers when the corresponding mask bit is set: nfs3svc_decode_setaclargs() if (args->mask & NFS_ACL) decode into acl_access if (args->mask & NFS_DFACL) decode into acl_default /* otherwise the pointer stays NULL (pc_argzero) */ nfsd3_proc_setacl() set_posix_acl(.., ACL_TYPE_ACCESS, argp->acl_access) set_posix_acl(.., ACL_TYPE_DEFAULT, argp->acl_default) set_posix_acl(idmap, dentry, type, NULL) is the VFS "remove this ACL type" operation. A NULL pointer that means "the client did not send this arm" is therefore indistinguishable from "the client asked to remove this ACL". A SETACL with mask=NFS_ACL silently drops the directory's default ACL; mask=0 drops both. The sibling nfsd3_proc_getacl() already consults argp->mask before touching each arm; mirror that in setacl. Fix by wrapping each set_posix_acl() call in the matching mask bit check and initializing error to 0 before inode_lock so that a request with neither bit set leaves the on-disk ACLs untouched and returns nfs_ok. The out_drop_lock path and the unconditional posix_acl_release() at out: are preserved; both NULL-tolerate the skipped arms. | ||||
