| CVE-2017-10620 | 1 Juniper | 21 Junos, Srx100, Srx110 and 18 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX series devices do not verify the HTTPS server certificate before downloading anti-virus updates. This may allow a man-in-the-middle attacker to inject bogus signatures to cause service disruptions or make the device not detect certain types of attacks. Affected Junos OS releases are: 12.1X46 prior to 12.1X46-D71; 12.3X48 prior to 12.3X48-D55; 15.1X49 prior to 15.1X49-D110; | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000256 | 2 Debian, Redhat | 2 Debian Linux, Libvirt | 2025-04-20 | 8.1 High |
| libvirt version 2.3.0 and later is vulnerable to a bad default configuration of "verify-peer=no" passed to QEMU by libvirt resulting in a failure to validate SSL/TLS certificates by default. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000209 | 1 Nv-websocket-client Project | 1 Nv-websocket-client | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Java WebSocket client nv-websocket-client does not verify that the server hostname matches a domain name in the subject's Common Name (CN) or subjectAltName field of the X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof SSL/TLS servers via an arbitrary valid certificate. | ||||
| CVE-2015-7826 | 1 Botan Project | 1 Botan | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| botan 1.11.x before 1.11.22 improperly handles wildcard matching against hostnames, which might allow remote attackers to have unspecified impact via a valid X.509 certificate, as demonstrated by accepting *.example.com as a match for bar.foo.example.com. | ||||
| CVE-2016-1132 | 1 Docomo | 1 Shoplat | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Shoplat App for iOS 1.10.00 through 1.18.00 does not properly verify SSL certificates. | ||||
| CVE-2016-1148 | 1 Photosynth | 1 Akerun | 2025-04-20 | 8.1 High |
| Akerun - Smart Lock Robot App for iOS before 1.2.4 does not verify SSL certificates. | ||||
| CVE-2016-3083 | 1 Apache | 1 Hive | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Apache Hive (JDBC + HiveServer2) implements SSL for plain TCP and HTTP connections (it supports both transport modes). While validating the server's certificate during the connection setup, the client in Apache Hive before 1.2.2 and 2.0.x before 2.0.1 doesn't seem to be verifying the common name attribute of the certificate. In this way, if a JDBC client sends an SSL request to server abc.com, and the server responds with a valid certificate (certified by CA) but issued to xyz.com, the client will accept that as a valid certificate and the SSL handshake will go through. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000097 | 1 Golang | 1 Go | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
| On Darwin, user's trust preferences for root certificates were not honored. If the user had a root certificate loaded in their Keychain that was explicitly not trusted, a Go program would still verify a connection using that root certificate. | ||||
| CVE-2017-0248 | 1 Microsoft | 1 .net Framework | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, 3.5, 3.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2 and 4.7 allow an attacker to bypass Enhanced Security Usage taggings when they present a certificate that is invalid for a specific use, aka ".NET Security Feature Bypass Vulnerability." | ||||
| CVE-2016-7816 | 1 Cybozu | 1 Kintone | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Cybozu kintone mobile for Android 1.0.6 and earlier does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate. | ||||
| CVE-2016-7815 | 1 Cybozu | 1 Remote Service Manager | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Remote Service Manager 3.0.0 to 3.1.4 fails to verify client certificates, which may allow remote attackers to gain access to systems on the network. | ||||
| CVE-2016-7805 | 1 Unisys | 1 Mobigate | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The mobiGate App for Android version 2.2.1.2 and earlier and mobiGate App for iOS version 2.2.4.1 and earlier do not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate. | ||||
| CVE-2016-7662 | 1 Apple | 3 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Watchos | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 10.2 is affected. macOS before 10.12.2 is affected. watchOS before 3.1.3 is affected. The issue involves the "Security" component, which allows remote attackers to spoof certificates via unspecified vectors. | ||||
| CVE-2016-5648 | 1 Acer | 1 Acer Portal | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Acer Portal app before 3.9.4.2000 for Android does not properly validate SSL certificates, which allows remote attackers to perform a Man-in-the-middle attack via a crafted SSL certificate. | ||||
| CVE-2022-32531 | 1 Apache | 1 Bookkeeper | 2025-04-17 | 5.9 Medium |
| The Apache Bookkeeper Java Client (before 4.14.6 and also 4.15.0) does not close the connection to the bookkeeper server when TLS hostname verification fails. This leaves the bookkeeper client vulnerable to a man in the middle attack. The problem affects BookKeeper client prior to versions 4.14.6 and 4.15.1. | ||||
| CVE-2022-22747 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 6 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird and 3 more | 2025-04-16 | 6.5 Medium |
| After accepting an untrusted certificate, handling an empty pkcs7 sequence as part of the certificate data could have lead to a crash. This crash is believed to be unexploitable. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 91.5, Firefox < 96, and Thunderbird < 91.5. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1834 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 4 Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2025-04-16 | 6.5 Medium |
| When displaying the sender of an email, and the sender name contained the Braille Pattern Blank space character multiple times, Thunderbird would have displayed all the spaces. This could have been used by an attacker to send an email message with the attacker's digital signature, that was shown with an arbitrary sender email address chosen by the attacker. If the sender name started with a false email address, followed by many Braille space characters, the attacker's email address was not visible. Because Thunderbird compared the invisible sender address with the signature's email address, if the signing key or certificate was accepted by Thunderbird, the email was shown as having a valid digital signature. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 91.10. | ||||
| CVE-2022-1197 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 4 Thunderbird, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2025-04-16 | 5.4 Medium |
| When importing a revoked key that specified key compromise as the revocation reason, Thunderbird did not update the existing copy of the key that was not yet revoked, and the existing key was kept as non-revoked. Revocation statements that used another revocation reason, or that didn't specify a revocation reason, were unaffected. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 91.8. | ||||
| CVE-2022-34469 | 2 Google, Mozilla | 2 Android, Firefox | 2025-04-15 | 8.8 High |
| When a TLS Certificate error occurs on a domain protected by the HSTS header, the browser should not allow the user to bypass the certificate error. On Firefox for Android, the user was presented with the option to bypass the error; this could only have been done by the user explicitly. <br>*This bug only affects Firefox for Android. Other operating systems are unaffected.*. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 102. | ||||
