CVSS v3.1 |
| NoMachine External Control of File Path Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of NoMachine. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the handling of command line parameters. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-28630. |
| External control of file name or path in Windows NTLM allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing locally. |
| Ferret is a declarative system for working with web data. Prior to 2.0.0-alpha.4, a path traversal vulnerability in Ferret's IO::FS::WRITE standard library function allows a malicious website to write arbitrary files to the filesystem of the machine running Ferret. When an operator scrapes a website that returns filenames containing ../ sequences, and uses those filenames to construct output paths (a standard scraping pattern), the attacker controls both the destination path and the file content. This can lead to remote code execution via cron jobs, SSH authorized_keys, shell profiles, or web shells. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.0.0-alpha.4. |
| Incorrect privilege assignment in Bluetooth in Maintenance mode prior to SMR Apr-2026 Release 1 allows physical attackers to bypass Extend Unlock. |
| A vulnerability in h2oai/h2o-3 version 3.46.0.1 allows remote attackers to write arbitrary data to any file on the server. This is achieved by exploiting the `/3/Parse` endpoint to inject attacker-controlled data as the header of an empty file, which is then exported using the `/3/Frames/framename/export` endpoint. The impact of this vulnerability includes the potential for remote code execution and complete access to the system running h2o-3, as attackers can overwrite critical files such as private SSH keys or script files. |
| Wondershare MirrorGo 2.0.11.346 contains a local privilege escalation vulnerability due to incorrect file permissions on executable files. Unprivileged local users can replace the ElevationService.exe with a malicious file to execute arbitrary code with LocalSystem privileges. |
| Sensitive information disclosure due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis True Image (Windows) before build 41736, Acronis True Image OEM (Windows) before build 42575. |
| Attackers with local access to the medical office computer can
escalate their Windows user privileges to "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" by
overwriting one of two Elefant service binaries with weak permissions. The default installation directory of Elefant is "C:\Elefant1" which is
writable for all users. In addition, the Elefant installer registers two
Firebird database services which are running as “NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM”.
Path: C:\Elefant1\Firebird_2\bin\fbserver.exe
Path: C:\Elefant1\Firebird_2\bin\fbguard.exe
Both service binaries are user writable. This means that a local
attacker can rename one of the service binaries, replace the service
executable with a new executable, and then restart the system. Once the
system has rebooted, the new service binary is executed as "NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM". |
| Improper permission settings for mobile applications (com.transsion.carlcare) may lead to user password and account security risks. |
| The mistral-dashboard plugin for openstack has a local file inclusion vulnerability through the 'Create Workbook' feature that may result in disclosure of arbitrary local files content. |
| An issue in the snxpcamd.sys component of SUNIX Multi I/O Card v10.1.0.0 allows attackers to perform arbitrary read and write actions via supplying crafted IOCTL requests. |
| mlocate's %post script allows RUN_UPDATEDB_AS user to make arbitrary files world readable by abusing insecure file operations that run with root privileges. |
| Foxit PDF Reader < 4.3.1.0218 exposes a JavaScript API function, createDataObject(), that allows untrusted PDF content to write arbitrary files anywhere on disk. By embedding a malicious PDF that calls this API, an attacker can drop executables or scripts into privileged folders, leading to code execution the next time the system boots or the user logs in. |
| Improper permission configurationDomain configuration vulnerability of the mobile application (com.afmobi.boomplayer) can lead to account takeover risks. |
| imFAQ is an advanced questions and answers management system for ImpressCMS. Prior to 1.0.1, if the $_GET['seoOp'] parameter is manipulated to include malicious input (e.g., seoOp=php://filter/read=convert.base64-encode/resource=/var/www/html/config.php), the application could allow an attacker to read sensitive files on the server (Local File Inclusion, LFI). The $_GET['seoOp'] and $_GET['seoArg'] parameters are directly used without sanitization or validation. This is partly mitigated by the fact that the ImpressCMS sensitive files are stored outside the web root, in a folder with a randomized name. The issue has been resolved in imFaq 1.0.1. |
| : External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability in TAGFREE X-Free Uploader XFU allows : Parameter Injection. This issue affects X-Free Uploader: from 1.0.1.0084 before 1.0.1.0085, from 2.0.1.0034 before 2.0.1.0035. |
| A vulnerability was found in jeanmarc77 123solar up to 1.8.4.5. It has been rated as critical. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /admin/admin_invt2.php. The manipulation of the argument PROTOCOLx leads to file inclusion. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| Local File Inclusion vulnerability in pretix Widget WordPress plugin pretix-widget on Windows allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects pretix Widget WordPress plugin: from 1.0.0 through 1.0.5. |
| A vulnerability was found in TCS BaNCS 10. It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown part of the file /REPORTS/REPORTS_SHOW_FILE.jsp. The manipulation of the argument FilePath leads to file inclusion. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. |
| When etcupdate encounters conflicts while merging files, it saves a version containing conflict markers in /var/db/etcupdate/conflicts. This version does not preserve the mode of the input file, and is world-readable. This applies to files that would normally have restricted visibility, such as /etc/master.passwd.
An unprivileged local user may be able to read encrypted root and user passwords from the temporary master.passwd file created in /var/db/etcupdate/conflicts. This is possible only when conflicts within the password file arise during an update, and the unprotected file is deleted when conflicts are resolved. |
