| CVE-2020-29573 | 3 Gnu, Netapp, Redhat | 9 Glibc, Cloud Backup, Solidfire Baseboard Management Controller and 6 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| sysdeps/i386/ldbl2mpn.c in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.23 on x86 targets has a stack-based buffer overflow if the input to any of the printf family of functions is an 80-bit long double with a non-canonical bit pattern, as seen when passing a \x00\x04\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x04 value to sprintf. NOTE: the issue does not affect glibc by default in 2016 or later (i.e., 2.23 or later) because of commits made in 2015 for inlining of C99 math functions through use of GCC built-ins. In other words, the reference to 2.23 is intentional despite the mention of "Fixed for glibc 2.33" in the 26649 reference. | ||||
| CVE-2020-29562 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp | 3 Fedora, Glibc, E-series Santricity Os Controller | 2026-10-14 | 4.8 Medium |
| The iconv function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.30 to 2.32, when converting UCS4 text containing an irreversible character, fails an assertion in the code path and aborts the program, potentially resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2020-27618 | 5 Debian, Gnu, Netapp and 2 more | 25 Debian Linux, Glibc, 500f and 22 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| The iconv function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.32 and earlier, when processing invalid multi-byte input sequences in IBM1364, IBM1371, IBM1388, IBM1390, and IBM1399 encodings, fails to advance the input state, which could lead to an infinite loop in applications, resulting in a denial of service, a different vulnerability from CVE-2016-10228. | ||||
| CVE-2020-24659 | 5 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Gnutls and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in GnuTLS before 3.6.15. A server can trigger a NULL pointer dereference in a TLS 1.3 client if a no_renegotiation alert is sent with unexpected timing, and then an invalid second handshake occurs. The crash happens in the application's error handling path, where the gnutls_deinit function is called after detecting a handshake failure. | ||||
| CVE-2020-13777 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.4 High |
| GnuTLS 3.6.x before 3.6.14 uses incorrect cryptography for encrypting a session ticket (a loss of confidentiality in TLS 1.2, and an authentication bypass in TLS 1.3). The earliest affected version is 3.6.4 (2018-09-24) because of an error in a 2018-09-18 commit. Until the first key rotation, the TLS server always uses wrong data in place of an encryption key derived from an application. | ||||
| CVE-2020-6096 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glibc | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| An exploitable signed comparison vulnerability exists in the ARMv7 memcpy() implementation of GNU glibc 2.30.9000. Calling memcpy() (on ARMv7 targets that utilize the GNU glibc implementation) with a negative value for the 'num' parameter results in a signed comparison vulnerability. If an attacker underflows the 'num' parameter to memcpy(), this vulnerability could lead to undefined behavior such as writing to out-of-bounds memory and potentially remote code execution. Furthermore, this memcpy() implementation allows for program execution to continue in scenarios where a segmentation fault or crash should have occurred. The dangers occur in that subsequent execution and iterations of this code will be executed with this corrupted data. | ||||
| CVE-2020-1752 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Gnu and 2 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Glibc and 7 more | 2026-10-14 | 7 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability introduced in glibc upstream version 2.14 was found in the way the tilde expansion was carried out. Directory paths containing an initial tilde followed by a valid username were affected by this issue. A local attacker could exploit this flaw by creating a specially crafted path that, when processed by the glob function, would potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. This was fixed in version 2.32. | ||||
| CVE-2020-1751 | 3 Canonical, Gnu, Redhat | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Glibc, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 5.1 Medium |
| An out-of-bounds write vulnerability was found in glibc before 2.31 when handling signal trampolines on PowerPC. Specifically, the backtrace function did not properly check the array bounds when storing the frame address, resulting in a denial of service or potential code execution. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability. | ||||
| CVE-2020-11501 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.4 High |
| GnuTLS 3.6.x before 3.6.13 uses incorrect cryptography for DTLS. The earliest affected version is 3.6.3 (2018-07-16) because of an error in a 2017-10-06 commit. The DTLS client always uses 32 '\0' bytes instead of a random value, and thus contributes no randomness to a DTLS negotiation. This breaks the security guarantees of the DTLS protocol. | ||||
| CVE-2020-10029 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 18 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| The GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) before 2.32 could overflow an on-stack buffer during range reduction if an input to an 80-bit long double function contains a non-canonical bit pattern, a seen when passing a 0x5d414141414141410000 value to sinl on x86 targets. This is related to sysdeps/ieee754/ldbl-96/e_rem_pio2l.c. | ||||
| CVE-2019-25013 | 6 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 12 Fabric Operating System, Debian Linux, Fedora and 9 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.9 Medium |
| The iconv feature in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.32, when processing invalid multi-byte input sequences in the EUC-KR encoding, may have a buffer over-read. | ||||

| CVE-2019-7309 | 1 Gnu | 1 Glibc | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| In the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.29, the memcmp function for the x32 architecture can incorrectly return zero (indicating that the inputs are equal) because the RDX most significant bit is mishandled. | ||||
| CVE-2019-6488 | 1 Gnu | 1 Glibc | 2026-10-14 | N/A |
| The string component in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) through 2.28, when running on the x32 architecture, incorrectly attempts to use a 64-bit register for size_t in assembly codes, which can lead to a segmentation fault or possibly unspecified other impact, as demonstrated by a crash in __memmove_avx_unaligned_erms in sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/memmove-vec-unaligned-erms.S during a memcpy. | ||||
