CVSS v3.1 |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 4.0.0 until 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.4, the optimized AMQP 1.0 server_mode parser in deps/amqp10_common/src/amqp10_binary_parser.erl matches the textual prefixes of symbolic data, sequence, and value body descriptors without verifying their encoded symbol lengths. An authenticated AMQP 1.0 publisher with write permission can submit a well-formed unknown descriptor that begins with a registered body descriptor, and RabbitMQ misclassifies and stores the bytes as a standard body section. Strict AMQP 1.0 consumers can terminate while decoding the stored entry. For bodies misclassified as data, AMQP 0-9-1 or other cross-protocol conversion performs full body decoding and can terminate the consumer protocol process, with acknowledgement-required delivery permitting repeated failures. Sequence and value classifications are normally transported as opaque encoded payloads on that conversion path. The broker remains alive, and the issue does not bypass routing or authorization. This issue is fixed in versions 4.0.24, 4.1.15, 4.2.10, and 4.3.4. |
| An Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions vulnerability in the Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) of Juniper Networks Junos OS on MX Series with SPC3 allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS).
On MX Series with SPC3 line-card and source NAT configuration, when a specific malformed IPv6 packet is received, it is not dropped but instead a session is created and NAT resources are allocated. Continued receipt of such packets will eventually lead to session or resource exhaustion, which will impact all traffic through the device. To recover the device needs to be rebooted.
To monitor session usage, use the following:
show services sessions summary
To monitor source NAT resource usage, use the following:
show services nat pool
This issue affects Junos OS on MX Series with SPC3:
* All versions before 23.2R2-S4;
* 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S5;
* 24.2 versions before 24.2R2. |
| A denial of service vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software enables an authenticated user with a read-only administrator role to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition by sending a specially crafted API request.
The security risk posed by this issue is significantly minimized by restricting access to the management web interface to only trusted internal IP addresses according to our recommended best practice deployment guidelines https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/community-blogs/tips-amp-tricks-how-to-secure-the-management-access-of-your-palo/ba-p/464431 .
Cloud NGFW, Panorama, and Prisma® Access are not affected by this vulnerability. |
| The FreeRDP client 3.0.0 before 3.32.0 does not check a server-selected PROTOCOL_RDSTLS or PROTOCOL_HYBRID_EX against its enabled protocol set in nego_process_negotiation_response(), allowing a security protocol downgrade. A malicious server or man-in-the-middle can select RDSTLS to override /sec:nla pinning, complete authentication with an all-zero cookie, and receive the user's cleartext password in the Client Info PDU. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the log processing functionality of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software on Panorama enables an attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. Repeated attempts to trigger this condition result in the Panorama entering maintenance mode.
Cloud NGFW, Prisma® Access, and standalone PAN-OS firewalls are not affected by this vulnerability. |
| The auth0/java-jwt library may terminate a thread if it receives a JWT with a timestamp claim (exp, nbf, iat) containing an out-of-range value. The condition occurs during token parsing, prior to signature verification. Repeated requests of this nature may lead to degraded availability of the affected service. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 2.1.6 in @backstage/plugin-search-backend and 1.8.7 in @backstage/plugin-search-backend-module-elasticsearch, search engine permission filtering could return documents denied by policy. An authenticated Backstage user subject to a DENY policy for search document types could receive unauthorized results in deployments with permission.enabled set to true and an Elasticsearch or OpenSearch backend. This issue is fixed in @backstage/plugin-search-backend 2.1.6 and @backstage/plugin-search-backend-module-elasticsearch 1.8.7. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: target: Fix NULL pointer dereference in core_scsi3_decode_spec_i_port()
The function core_scsi3_decode_spec_i_port(), in its error code path,
unconditionally calls core_scsi3_lunacl_undepend_item() passing the
dest_se_deve pointer, which may be NULL.
This can lead to a NULL pointer dereference if dest_se_deve remains
unset.
SPC-3 PR SPEC_I_PT: Unable to locate dest_tpg

| Denial of service vulnerabilities in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software allow an unauthenticated attacker with network access to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition by sending specially crafted network traffic to or through a dataplane interface. Repeated attempts to trigger this condition result in the firewall entering maintenance mode.
Cloud NGFW and Panorama are not affected by this vulnerability. |
| An improper input handling vulnerability in the GlobalProtect™ gateway of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software enables an authenticated user to establish a GlobalProtect session using the identity of another user.
Cloud NGFW and Panorama are not affected by this vulnerability. |
| The error page mechanism of the Java Servlet Specification requires that, when an error occurs and an error page is configured for the error that occurred, the original request and response are forwarded to the error page. This means that the request is presented to the error page with the original HTTP method. If the error page is a static file, expected behaviour is to serve content of the file as if processing a GET request, regardless of the actual HTTP method. The Default Servlet in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M20, 8.5.0 to 8.5.14, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.43 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.77 did not do this. Depending on the original request this could lead to unexpected and undesirable results for static error pages including, if the DefaultServlet is configured to permit writes, the replacement or removal of the custom error page. Notes for other user provided error pages: (1) Unless explicitly coded otherwise, JSPs ignore the HTTP method. JSPs used as error pages must must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method. (2) By default, the response generated by a Servlet does depend on the HTTP method. Custom Servlets used as error pages must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method. |
| Nullsoft Scriptable Install System (NSIS) before 3.11 on Windows allows local users to escalate privileges to SYSTEM during an installation, because the temporary plugins directory is created under %WINDIR%\temp and unprivileged users can place a crafted executable file by winning a race condition. This occurs because EW_CREATEDIR does not always set the CreateRestrictedDirectory error flag. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
PCI/IOV: Fix race between SR-IOV enable/disable and hotplug
Commit 05703271c3cd ("PCI/IOV: Add PCI rescan-remove locking when
enabling/disabling SR-IOV") tried to fix a race between the VF removal
inside sriov_del_vfs() and concurrent hot unplug by taking the PCI
rescan/remove lock in sriov_del_vfs(). Similarly the PCI rescan/remove lock
was also taken in sriov_add_vfs() to protect addition of VFs.
This approach however causes deadlock on trying to remove PFs with SR-IOV
enabled because PFs disable SR-IOV during removal and this removal happens
under the PCI rescan/remove lock. So the original fix had to be reverted.
Instead of taking the PCI rescan/remove lock in sriov_add_vfs() and
sriov_del_vfs(), fix the race that occurs with SR-IOV enable and disable vs
hotplug higher up in the callchain by taking the lock in
sriov_numvfs_store() before calling into the driver's sriov_configure()
callback. |
| An issue was discovered in libexpat before 2.6.4. There is a crash within the XML_ResumeParser function because XML_StopParser can stop/suspend an unstarted parser. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tcp_metrics: validate source addr length
I don't see anything checking that TCP_METRICS_ATTR_SADDR_IPV4
is at least 4 bytes long, and the policy doesn't have an entry
for this attribute at all (neither does it for IPv6 but v6 is
manually validated). |
| A vulnerability in input validation exists in curl <8.0 during communication using the TELNET protocol may allow an attacker to pass on maliciously crafted user name and "telnet options" during server negotiation. The lack of proper input scrubbing allows an attacker to send content or perform option negotiation without the application's intent. This vulnerability could be exploited if an application allows user input, thereby enabling attackers to execute arbitrary code on the system. |
| The ssl3_get_key_exchange function in s3_clnt.c in OpenSSL before 0.9.8zd, 1.0.0 before 1.0.0p, and 1.0.1 before 1.0.1k allows remote SSL servers to conduct RSA-to-EXPORT_RSA downgrade attacks and facilitate brute-force decryption by offering a weak ephemeral RSA key in a noncompliant role, related to the "FREAK" issue. NOTE: the scope of this CVE is only client code based on OpenSSL, not EXPORT_RSA issues associated with servers or other TLS implementations. |
| A remote user who can read encrypted objects in the S3 bucket can force a padding downgrade by altering the padding scheme recorded in an object's metadata to legacy PKCS#1 v1.5. Since this padding scheme is susceptible to the well-known Bleichenbacher attack, the user can use a PKCS#1 v1.5 padding oracle to recover the RSA-wrapped envelope key and decrypt the object.
To remediate this issue, we recommend that users upgrade to version 3.2.2 or 4.0.3. The 1.x and 2.x lines will not be patched, users of those lines need to migrate to 3.2.2 or 4.0.3. |
| Improper state validation in Autofill AI in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker to spoof UI elements via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| Improper state validation in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
