CVSS v3.1 |
| F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.2.0, Svc::GenericHub fromBufferDriver_handler deserialization is vulnerable because the receive handler uses FW_ASSERT for externally influenced deserialization status and type validation and permits a command payload size subtraction to underflow. When an unauthenticated inter-processor hub peer sends a truncated buffer, an invalid HubType, or a header-only command-dispatch payload, malformed hub traffic aborts or resets the process, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.0. |
| F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.3.0, Svc::FileDownlink SendPartial range validation is vulnerable because the wrapping sum bypasses file-range validation, becomes m_endOffset, and leaves m_byteOffset greater than the wrapped end offset. When an existing source file is larger than the supplied startOffset and a caller able to issue SendPartial supplies a length whose U32 sum with that offset wraps, the first data-packet send reaches FW_ASSERT and aborts or resets the process, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0. |
| Authentication tokens issued by the E3's web management interface on login are given an expiration time far beyond any reasonable session lifetime, effectively making them non-expiring. A token obtained through interception or device compromise remains valid for authenticated access for an extended period. |
| A flaw was found in the QEMU Guest Agent (qga). A local unprivileged user can exploit a vulnerability in the guest-ssh-add-authorized-keys command handler by manipulating symbolic links. This can occur either through a deterministic directory-symlink bypass or a Time-of-Check to Time-of-Use (TOCTOU) file-symlink race. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to gain ownership of arbitrary root-owned files or directories, leading to root access. This vulnerability requires an external management layer (e.g., libvirt) to trigger the affected code path. |
| A flaw was found in the OpenShift client oc. When extracting container image layers with oc image extract, the application fails to properly sanitize symbolic and hard link targets pointing to absolute paths or to sibling directories of the extraction destination. An attacker who supplies a malicious container image can exploit this vulnerability by embedding links, and a chained file entry, that reference locations outside the intended extraction directory. This allows the attacker to write attacker-controlled content to arbitrary locations on the host filesystem with the privileges of the user running the command, potentially leading to file modification outside the destination directory. |
| A flaw has been found in Optimal IdM OptimalCloud 5.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /v5.0/social. Executing a manipulation of the argument state can lead to open redirect. The attack can be executed remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| OpenCATS before 0.10.0 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in CalendarUI::onEditEvent() and onDeleteEvent() that allows authenticated users to modify or delete other users' calendar events. Attackers with EDIT or DELETE access can supply arbitrary eventID values to alter or remove any user's events, including non-public ones restricted to their owner. |
| filelock is a platform-independent file lock for Python. From 4.0.0 until 4.2.1, SoftReadWriteLock refreshes holder records by name, allowing another local user with rename access to the lock directory to replace a record with a named pipe and stall the lock, or under a permissive hard-link policy to link a reachable target file and cause the lock user to write through it. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.1. |
| IBM Storage TS4500 Library 1.1.1.6 through 1.12.0.3 IBM TS4500 Tape Library/Diamondback Tape Library does not invalidate session which could allow an authenticated user to impersonate another user on the system. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: ethernet: mtk_eth_soc: unregister net_devices in case of probe failure
If register_netdev() fails for one of the MTK_MAX_DEVS devices in
mtk_probe(), the error path jumps to err_deinit_ppe, skipping
mtk_unreg_dev(). The previously registered net_devices are then freed by
mtk_free_dev() while still in NETREG_REGISTERED state, hitting the
BUG_ON(dev->reg_state != NETREG_UNREGISTERED).
Route the register_netdev() failure to err_unreg_netdev so the net_devices
registered so far are properly unregistered before being freed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_ct: don't WARN on benign flow_offload_alloc() failure
flow_offload_alloc() returns NULL when the conntrack entry is dying
(e.g. raced with a conntrack flush) or when the GFP_ATOMIC allocation
fails; both are expected under load and neither is a kernel bug. This
path runs from softirq on every committed packet, so with
panic_on_warn=1 an unprivileged user can panic the box just by racing
a conntrack flush against a `tc ... action ct commit` classifier.
Reproduced with a custom repro under QEMU: a small, fixed set of UDP
flows through `tc filter ... action ct commit` on lo, raced against
threads flooding bare ctnetlink CT_DELETE (flush) requests. Hits
WARNING: net/sched/act_ct.c:437 (tcf_ct_flow_table_add(), inlined
into tcf_ct_act() in this build) within ~15s on the unpatched kernel;
same setup is clean on the patched kernel. The fix itself is
behavior-preserving: both branches already did `goto err_alloc`
before and after, only the WARN is removed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Make post-verification instruction rewrites killable
After do_check() returns, the verifier runs several instruction rewrite
passes. Some of them patch or remove one instruction at a time. Each
operation moves the remaining instruction and auxiliary-data arrays and
adjusts all branch offsets, making the overall work quadratic in the
program length.
A privileged loader can submit 131072 unconditional jumps by zero followed
by a valid return. Verification finishes quickly, but bpf_opt_remove_nops()
then spends a long time removing each jump separately. Since this
post-verification work neither checks for signals nor reschedules, a pending
SIGKILL cannot terminate the task until the rewrite finishes.
Make bpf_patch_insn_data() and verifier_remove_insns() common cancellation
and rescheduling points. These helpers run from BPF_PROG_LOAD process
context, and bpf_patch_insn_data() can already sleep while reallocating
auxiliary data.
Report interrupted constant blinding as -EINTR and propagate it through
both JIT paths, including kernels that permit interpreter fallback.
Other blinding failures retain the existing fallback behavior.
This does not reduce the quadratic cost of the rewrite passes, but it makes
the work preemptible and allows a killed loader to be torn down promptly. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: arm64: Validate the SVE vector length in pkvm_vcpu_init_sve()
pkvm_vcpu_init_sve() clamps only the upper bound of the host-provided
sve_max_vl, so an invalid vector length reaches sve_state_size_from_vl()
and the WARN_ON() there, which is fatal at EL2. The existing
!sve_state_size test rejects such a length, but only after the macro has
run.
Check sve_vl_valid() before deriving the state size. A valid length
cannot yield a zero size, so the !sve_state_size test goes with it. |
| F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.2.0, Svc::Ccsds::SpacePacketDeframer dataIn_handler is vulnerable because the handler treats the minimum packet-length condition as FW_ASSERT rather than rejecting and returning the buffer. When a CCSDS telecommand frame leaves a payload of six bytes or fewer after TcDeframer removes its header and trailer, the assertion aborts or resets the flight-software process, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.0. |
| A Reachable Assertion vulnerability in the
l2ald
daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved devices configured for MC-LAG/ICCP allows an adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service via an inconsistent ICCP peer message. |
| A Reachable Assertion vulnerability in the srxpfe process of Juniper Networks Junos OS on SRX Series allows an adjacent network attacker to cause a denial of service of the data plane via malformed firewall-authentication synchronization traffic on chassis-cluster fabric interfaces. |
| Gitea's OpenID connect handler accepts a user's password without enforcing enrolled TOTP or WebAuthn verification before completing sign-in and linking an OpenID identifier. When OpenID sign-in is enabled, an attacker who knows the victim's password can obtain a session and link an attacker-controlled identifier. The attacker can then sign in through that identifier without the victim's password or second factor, and a password change does not remove the link. |
| Formbricks before 4.9.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in server actions like resetSurveyAction and updateSegmentAction that fail to verify resource ownership against the supplied organizationId. Authenticated owners or managers of any organization can pair their own organization identifier with victim resource IDs to delete survey responses, modify segments and quotas, or alter pending invitations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: drain and invalidate before server-side copy/clone
cifs_file_copychunk_range() and the clone (FICLONE) path of
cifs_remap_file_range() do not serialise the destination page cache
against the server-side copy the way the other server-side range
operations (smb3_zero_range(), smb3_punch_hole(), smb3_collapse_range()
and smb3_insert_range()) do.
cifs_file_copychunk_range() invalidates the destination range with
filemap_invalidate_inode(), which takes and drops the mapping's
invalidate_lock internally, so the lock is no longer held when the
copychunk ioctl is issued. It also never drains in-flight netfs I/O on
the target. The clone path never takes the invalidate_lock at all (only
i_rwsem), uses a bare truncate_inode_pages_range() and likewise does not
drain outstanding I/O.
As a result an asynchronous destination writeback can complete after the
server-side copy/clone has run and reinstate stale data over the region
just written by the server, corrupting the file. This is the same class
of corruption as commit d7d2adcd022b ("smb/client: flush dirty data
before punching a hole") and has been seen randomly in generic/363
against Windows Server.
Fix both paths to follow the established ordering: hold the target
mapping's invalidate_lock across the flush and invalidation of the
destination and the server ioctl, and call netfs_wait_for_outstanding_io()
on the target to drain in-flight writes before the ioctl is issued. Only
the target inode's invalidate_lock is required, as the source is merely
flushed and not invalidated; i_rwsem (already held via
lock_two_nondirectories()) is acquired before the invalidate_lock,
matching the VFS lock ordering. Since filemap_invalidate_inode() takes
that same lock internally, replace it with its own unmap/flush/invalidate
steps instead of calling it, and return early on a zero-length copy to
avoid a range underflow. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in the AMF parser in Apache bRPC < 1.18.0 allows a remote RTMP peer to crash a bRPC process by sending deeply nested AMF objects or arrays. The parser recursively processed nested AMF containers without enforcing a depth limit, which could exhaust the native stack.
Affected Scenarios:
Applications using bRPC RTMP support and parsing AMF data from an untrusted RTMP peer. This includes RTMP servers parsing client command messages, RTMP clients parsing server responses or status messages, and either side parsing inbound AMF script data such as metadata or cue points. Direct callers of ReadAMFObject or ReadAMFArray on untrusted input are also affected.
How to Fix:
1. Upgrade Apache bRPC to 1.18.0.
2. Apply the patch from PR https://github.com/apache/brpc/pull/3344 .
Note:
The fix introduces a configurable AMF nesting depth limit with default value 128. AMF objects or arrays deeper than amf_max_depth are rejected after applying the fix. |
