CVSS v3.1 |
| mise manages dev tools like node, python, cmake, and terraform. Prior to 2026.7.14, in the default non-safe mode, mise loads .mise.toml [settings] from an untrusted local project before trust approval and strip_local_only_settings removes only fields marked global_only. The unix_default_file_shell_args, unix_default_inline_shell_args, windows_default_file_shell_args, and windows_default_inline_shell_args settings were not marked global_only, allowing a repository to replace the default interpreter arguments used by trusted tasks that have no explicit shell, postinstall directives, template exec operations, or hooks that fall back to the default shell. When mise appends the trusted command after the attacker-controlled interpreter arguments, the attacker-selected command can execute first with the developer account's privileges even though the local configuration was never trusted. The separate path-sanitization hardening note in the advisory is outside this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 2026.7.14. |
| The GUIX binary resource (theme) loader sizes its arena and populates it in two separate passes that traverse the resource file with independent cursor arithmetic. Because `gx_page_header_data_size` is never validated against the glyph data a page actually contains, the two passes can read different page headers for the same font page, derive different glyph counts, and reserve less than the load pass writes. The excess is written past the end of the arena, with content taken verbatim from the file.
The overflowed buffer is allocated by GUIX itself, through `_gx_system_memory_allocator`, rather than supplied by the caller. The public API `gx_binres_theme_load()` takes no size parameter, so no amount of caller diligence prevents this.
Reproduces in the shipped default configuration; `GX_BINARY_RESOURCE_SUPPORT` is enabled by default. |
| When a TLS 1.3 client processes a HelloRetryRequest, it copies the server's cookie into its second ClientHello without checking that the cookie fits in the outgoing packet. Both the length and the contents of that cookie come from the peer, and the write happens before certificate authentication completes, so a malicious or compromised server can overwrite memory past the caller supplied TLS packet buffer without presenting a certificate.
Only the client path is affected. |
| RIOT is an open-source microcontroller operating system designed for Internet of Things devices and other embedded systems. Prior to 2026.07, nanocoap accepts oversized CoAP Block2 option values without enforcing the 20-bit maximum block number, allowing block offset multiplication to overflow on 32-bit targets. The affected master baseline is commit aeeae69e; the verified fix is later on master and remains unreleased. The oversized value passes from coap_get_blockopt() to coap_block_slicer_init(). A remote CoAP client can send a malformed Block2 option that produces an invalid slice range and can cause out-of-bounds memory access, denial of service, or memory corruption. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.07. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability in the CLI of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows a local, low privileged attacker to take complete control of the device.
A specific 'request csds' command doesn't sanitize user provided input so that it can be interpreted as a command. This allows unintended command execution with root privileges, which can lead to unauthorized system access or modification.
This issue affects Junos OS:
* 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S4;
* 25.2 versions before 25.2R2-S1;
* 25.4 versions before 25.4R1-S3;
This issue does not affect Junos OS releases before 24.4R1. |
| An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service when IS-IS link protection and backup-selection are configured. |
| An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an attacker with access to a configured BGP EVPN peer to cause a denial of service via BGP EVPN route processing when the l2vpn-evpn RIB telemetry sensor is subscribed. Successful exploitation can crash rpd and interrupt routing protocols until the daemon restarts and reconverges. |
| An Out-of-bounds Write Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in lacpd of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows a Layer-2-adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted frame received on an LACP-enabled aggregated-Ethernet member port. |
| An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in the phone-home daemon (phcd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved on EX Series, SRX Series, and QFX Series allows an adjacent unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges via a rogue DHCP server. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: rsi: fix heap OOB write on key removal
When a key is removed (data == NULL), rsi_hal_load_key() runs:
memset(&set_key[FRAME_DESC_SZ], 0, frame_len - FRAME_DESC_SZ);
set_key is a struct rsi_set_key *, so the subscript is scaled by
sizeof(struct rsi_set_key) (160 bytes): &set_key[FRAME_DESC_SZ] is
skb->data + 2560, and the memset writes 144 zero bytes starting
2.4KB past the end of the 160-byte skb data buffer, corrupting
unrelated heap objects. The intended byte offset would have been
(u8 *)set_key + FRAME_DESC_SZ.
The write fires on every DISABLE_KEY callback, so plain disconnects,
roams and interface teardowns trigger it on real networks.
The memset is redundant: the whole buffer is zeroed right after
allocation, so the frame sent to the device is byte-identical
without it. Drop the else branch; normal operation is unaffected.

| Out-of-bounds write in Windows GDI allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in the rpd process of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause a routing-plane denial of service via Auto-RP mapping announcements received when Auto-RP mapping is enabled. |
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability in the bootzd zero-touch provisioning daemon of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on PTX Series allows an unauthenticated attacker on the management LAN to execute commands as root via a crafted gRPC response. |
| An OS Command Injection vulnerability in TACACS of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows a low-privileged TACACS+-authenticated user to execute commands with root privileges when periodic TACACS+ authorization-refresh is enabled. |
| Out-of-bounds write in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| ConnectBot SSH Client Library is written in Kotlin with Kaitai Struct and KStateMachine. Prior to 0.3.1, the SSH protocol parser trusts attacker-controlled inner byte lengths and element counts without verifying that they fit in the containing packet. A malicious or compromised SSH server can return a small malformed packet whose oversized declarations cause the Kaitai Struct Java runtime to attempt excessive allocation or repeated parsing before detecting truncated input. The general transport path requires a client connection but no authentication or optional feature; malformed SSH-agent messages additionally require SSH agent forwarding. The issue can raise an uncaught OutOfMemoryError and terminate the application process, with no demonstrated confidentiality or integrity impact. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.1. |
| Bridge is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. |
| An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on QFX5240, QFX5241 and QFX5250 configured for BGP global-load-balancing and more than 128 ecmp next-hops allows an attacker to cause an rpd crash. |
| Heym builds and runs agentic systems and business-process automations on self-hosted infrastructure. Prior to 0.0.40, an authenticated user who can create or edit a workflow with an Agent custom Python tool can bypass the blacklist-based sandbox in backend/app/services/python_tool_executor.py because allowed standard-library modules expose operating-system, process, and filesystem capabilities through public attributes that pass _safe_import() and _validate_code_safety(). The runner then executes the supplied tool with exec(), permitting commands and file operations as the backend application user; self-registration affects reachability, but portal triggering alone does not grant code control. This issue is fixed in 0.0.40. |
| A weakness has been identified in beautifier js-beautify up to 1.15.1/2.0.3. The affected element is an unknown function. Executing a manipulation can lead to uncontrolled memory allocation. The attack may be launched remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
