CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
neigh: let neigh_xmit take skb ownership
neigh_xmit always releases the skb, except when no neighbour table is
found. But even the first added user of neigh_xmit (mpls) relied on
neigh_xmit to release the skb (or queue it for tx).
sashiko reported:
If neigh_xmit() is called with an uninitialized neighbor table (for
example, NEIGH_ND_TABLE when IPv6 is disabled), it returns -EAFNOSUPPORT
and bypasses its internal out_kfree_skb error path. Because the return
value of neigh_xmit() is ignored here, does this leak the SKB?
Assume full ownership and remove the last code path that doesn't
xmit or free skb. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: strparser: fix skb_head leak in strp_abort_strp()
When the stream parser is aborted, for example after a message assembly timeout,
it can still hold a reference to a partially assembled message in
strp->skb_head.
That skb is not released in strp_abort_strp(), which leaks the partially
assembled message and can be triggered repeatedly to exhaust memory.
Fix this by freeing strp->skb_head and resetting the parser state in the
abort path. Leave strp_stop() unchanged so final cleanup still happens in
strp_done() after the work and timer have been synchronized. |
| The Bluetooth Link Layer control procedure code in subsys/bluetooth/controller/ll_sw/ull_llcp_conn_upd.c retains the received RX node while a Connection Update / Connection Parameter procedure waits for its instant, so the node can later carry the host notification (llcp_rx_node_retain(), which marks it NODE_RX_TYPE_RETAIN and thereby suppresses the normal recycling in ull.c). The default: arm of llcp_rp_cu_rx() and llcp_lp_cu_rx() — the "invalid PDU, terminate the connection" path — completed the procedure without releasing that retained node. llcp_rr_check_done() then dequeued and freed the procedure context with ctx->node_ref.rx still pointing at the retained node, dropping the last reference to it.
A peer device in radio range can reach this without pairing, bonding, or encryption. Against a peripheral, the peer sends a well-formed LL_CONNECTION_UPDATE_IND with an instant a few connection events in the future (the node is retained and the procedure enters RP_CU_STATE_WAIT_INSTANT), then, before the instant is reached, sends any other LL Control PDU such as LL_LENGTH_REQ. ull_cp_rx() routes that PDU into the active remote Connection Update procedure, which takes the invalid-PDU path. The central role is reachable symmetrically after accepting an LL_CONNECTION_PARAM_REQ, and the local-procedure variant is reachable with LL_REJECT_IND.
With CONFIG_BT_CTLR_ASSERT_DEBUG enabled (its default), the resulting state violates the invariant asserted in llcp_rr_check_done(), so the two-PDU sequence produces an immediate fatal error in the controller. With those asserts disabled, each occurrence permanently loses one node from the controller's small fixed RX pool (sized from CONFIG_BT_CTLR_RX_BUFFERS, which defaults to 1); repeating the sequence across reconnections exhausts the pool, after which the link-layer receive path operates on a NULL node. The impact is an unauthenticated, remotely triggerable denial of service persisting until reboot; there is no memory-disclosure or memory-corruption consequence, since the leaked node simply becomes unreachable. |
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in a command ('command injection') in Microsoft Office OneNote allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: avoid infinite loops caused by residual data
On the mkdir/mknod path, when mapping logical blocks to physical blocks,
if inserting a new extent into the extent tree fails (in this example,
because the file system disabled the huge file feature when marking the
inode as dirty), ext4_ext_map_blocks() only calls ext4_free_blocks() to
reclaim the physical block without deleting the corresponding data in
the extent tree. This causes subsequent mkdir operations to reference
the previously reclaimed physical block number again, even though this
physical block is already being used by the xattr block. Therefore, a
situation arises where both the directory and xattr are using the same
buffer head block in memory simultaneously.
The above causes ext4_xattr_block_set() to enter an infinite loop about
"inserted" and cannot release the inode lock, ultimately leading to the
143s blocking problem mentioned in [1].
If the metadata is corrupted, then trying to remove some extent space
can do even more harm. Also in case EXT4_GET_BLOCKS_DELALLOC_RESERVE
was passed, remove space wrongly update quota information.
Jan Kara suggests distinguishing between two cases:
1) The error is ENOSPC or EDQUOT - in this case the filesystem is fully
consistent and we must maintain its consistency including all the
accounting. However these errors can happen only early before we've
inserted the extent into the extent tree. So current code works correctly
for this case.
2) Some other error - this means metadata is corrupted. We should strive to
do as few modifications as possible to limit damage. So I'd just skip
freeing of allocated blocks.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mld: cancel mlo_scan_start_wk
mlo_scan_start_wk is not canceled on disconnection. In fact, it is not
canceled anywhere except in the restart cleanup, where we don't really
have to.
This can cause an init-after-queue issue: if, for example, the work was
queued and then drv_change_interface got executed.
This can also cause use-after-free: if the work is executed after the
vif is freed. |
| An unauthenticated remote attacker may use an allocation of resources without limits or throttling weakness in the affected product to cause high CPU load leading to a denial of service. |
| BottleCRM 0.45 through 1.14.5 contains an uncontrolled memory allocation vulnerability in _read_upload() that reads entire CSV uploads before enforcing the 5 MB limit. Authenticated users with mass-import permission can send oversized CSV files concurrently to /api/contacts/import/ and /api/cases/import/ endpoints to exhaust worker memory and trigger out-of-memory termination. |
| Allocation of resources without limits or throttling in ASP.NET Core allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mwifiex: fix IRQ leak using wrong index in MSI-X error path
mwifiex_pcie_request_irq() registers each MSI-X vector with a per-index
dev_id (&card->msix_ctx[i]). On a request_irq() failure the cleanup loop
"for (j = 0; j < i; j++)" frees msix_entries[j].vector but passes the
failed index's &card->msix_ctx[i] as the dev_id. free_irq() matches on
(irq, dev_id), so it fails to find the action registered with
&card->msix_ctx[j]: the already-requested IRQ j is not freed (leaked) and
free_irq() warns about freeing a non-existent IRQ. Use &card->msix_ctx[j]. |
| Dell Unisphere for PowerMax vApp, version(s) 9.2.4.x, contain(s) an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Remote execution. |
| OW2 ASM 3.0 before 9.11 contains an uncontrolled recursion vulnerability in SignatureReader.parseType() that allows attackers to exhaust the stack via deeply nested generic type signatures. Attackers can supply a crafted class file with a long Signature attribute containing many nested type arguments to trigger a StackOverflowError during class transformation, causing denial of service. |
| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. From 3.13.0 until 3.13.15 and 4.0.22 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6 and 4.3.1, Atom exhaustion: OAuth2 JWT tag: scope values. extractscopes/1 parses scopes of the form .tag: and calls rabbitdatacoercion:toatom() to convert to a tag atom. The token signature is verified first, so the attacker cannot forge scopes , but in IdP configurations where scope content is user-influenced, each login with a novel tag value leaks one In deployments where users can influence the scopes included in their IdP-issued JWT rabbitmqauthbackendoauth2 enabled IdP permits attacker-influenced scope values in signed tokens. This issue is fixed in versions 3.13.15 and 4.0.22 and 4.1.11 and 4.2.6 and 4.3.1. |
| Progress MarkLogic Server 12.x releases before 12.1.0 and 11.x releases before 11.3.7 do not consistently record successful authentication events in audit logs, which could limit customers' ability to detect and investigate unauthorized access or credential misuse. |
| An unauthenticated user with network access to the Ops Manager web port can repeatedly request monitoring endpoints that perform costly work without rate limiting. This can temporarily slow other traffic served by the same process while requests continue. |
| An issue has been found in JasPer 2.0.14. There is a memory leak in jas_malloc.c when called from jpc_unk_getparms in jpc_cs.c. |
| A flaw was found in Netty's HttpServerCodec. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by pipelining HTTP/1.1 requests on a single connection and withholding reads. This action causes the methodOverflowQueue to grow without limit, leading to unbounded heap memory consumption and a denial of service due to memory exhaustion. |
| A flaw was found in Netty. SpdySessionHandler accepts an unlimited number of concurrent remote-initiated streams because localConcurrentStreams defaults to Integer.MAX_VALUE and the handler provides no API to change it. A remote peer can open a SPDY connection and send a large number of SYN_STREAM frames with FLAG_FIN=0, causing unbounded heap and direct memory allocation that can lead to JVM OutOfMemoryError and a denial of service. |
| A flaw has been found in Wavlink WL-WN592AX6 250422. This issue affects the function system of the component wmapd Daemon. Executing a manipulation can lead to os command injection. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure. |
| A vulnerability was found in Edimax BR-6208AC 1.32. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /goform/formAccept. Performing a manipulation of the argument submit-url results in command injection. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
