CVE-2026-90083 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_ife: Only operate on Ethernet frames act_ife encapsulates/decapsulates the original Ethernet header and uses skb->dev->hard_header_len as the length of that header. That is only correct for Ethernet devices: on a device where hard_header_len does not match the L2 header that was actually pulled (PPP reports PPP_HDRLEN while nothing is stripped on ingress), the ingress skb_push()/skb_pull() use the wrong length and can hit skb_under_panic when headroom is tight. IFE is Ethernet-only by design - it builds an outer ethhdr, rewrites h_source/h_dest/h_proto, and calls eth_type_trans() on decode - so instead of trying to make the offsets work for arbitrary link types, simply drop packets that do not carry an Ethernet header. Checking skb->dev->type alone is not enough. We have to cater for a corner case where mirred can redirect an skb from a non-Ethernet device to an Ethernet one, and skb->dev then says nothing about the framing the skb actually has: an skb redirected from ppp0 reaches the target's ingress hook with mac_len 0 and no Ethernet header at all. So at ingress also require mac_len to be ETH_HLEN. On egress mac_len is not maintained, so the device type is all we have; a bogus redirect there yields a malformed frame rather than an out-of-bounds push, and it would be malformed with or without IFE. That corner case is not theoretical - redirecting from ppp0 into a veth that has an ife encode action on its ingress hook panics without this patch: skbuff: skb_under_panic: len:98 put:14 head:ffff88800e410000 data:ffff88800e40fff5 tail:0x57 end:0x640 dev:veth3 kernel BUG at net/core/skbuff.c:214! CVE-2026-89838 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: limit recovery filename logging to stored length F2FS stores recovery filenames as a length plus a fixed-size i_name buffer. The buffer is not NUL-terminated, but recover_inode() and recover_dentry() print it with %s. For a 255-byte filename, recovery logging can read past i_name into the following raw inode fields. Print the name with a precision bounded by i_namelen and F2FS_NAME_LEN.
CVE-2026-89834 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: f2fs: fix to migrate all curseg types during free_segment_range In free_segment_range(), the curseg evacuation loop only iterates up to NR_CURSEG_PERSIST_TYPE (0..5), missing non-persistent in-memory curseg types such as CURSEG_COLD_DATA_PINNED and CURSEG_ALL_DATA_ATGC. Even though these in-memory curseg types are not saved in the on-disk checkpoint header, they still occupy active physical segments at runtime. If an active in-memory curseg happens to be allocated within the segment range being truncated during filesystem shrink, failing to evacuate it will cause subsequent writes to the curseg attempting out-of-bounds I/O on the truncated storage range. Fix this by expanding the curseg evacuation loop upper bound to NR_CURSEG_TYPE to ensure all active curseg types are safely migrated out of the target range.
CVE-2025-21927 2 Linux, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 1 more 2026-10-21 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-tcp: fix potential memory corruption in nvme_tcp_recv_pdu() nvme_tcp_recv_pdu() doesn't check the validity of the header length. When header digests are enabled, a target might send a packet with an invalid header length (e.g. 255), causing nvme_tcp_verify_hdgst() to access memory outside the allocated area and cause memory corruptions by overwriting it with the calculated digest. Fix this by rejecting packets with an unexpected header length.
CVE-2024-53147 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: exfat: fix out-of-bounds access of directory entries In the case of the directory size is greater than or equal to the cluster size, if start_clu becomes an EOF cluster(an invalid cluster) due to file system corruption, then the directory entry where ei->hint_femp.eidx hint is outside the directory, resulting in an out-of-bounds access, which may cause further file system corruption. This commit adds a check for start_clu, if it is an invalid cluster, the file or directory will be treated as empty.
CVE-2024-46834 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ethtool: fail closed if we can't get max channel used in indirection tables Commit 0d1b7d6c9274 ("bnxt: fix crashes when reducing ring count with active RSS contexts") proves that allowing indirection table to contain channels with out of bounds IDs may lead to crashes. Currently the max channel check in the core gets skipped if driver can't fetch the indirection table or when we can't allocate memory. Both of those conditions should be extremely rare but if they do happen we should try to be safe and fail the channel change.

Remote attackers can execute arbitrary Python via POST /v1/tools/run, manage /v1/admin users, or run OS commands via COPY PROGRAM.
CVE-2026-110725 1 Fast-uri 1 Fast-uri 2026-10-20 3.7 Low
fast-uri is a dependency-free RFC 3986 URI parser and serializer for Node.js. In versions before 2.4.8, from 3.0.0 through 3.1.8, and from 4.0.0 through 4.2.2, when serialize(), normalize(), or resolve() are called with the non-default option reference set to suffix on a reference that has no authority, the emitted relative reference can contain a bare colon in its first path segment without escaping it, even though RFC 3986 forbids that because it makes the string reparse as an absolute URI with a scheme. An application that serializes or normalizes a relative reference with the suffix option and then treats the result as a URI can turn inert input into a live javascript, data, or vbscript URL, a cross-site scripting vector, and the equal() comparison can conflate a scheme-bearing reference with a relative one. Exposure is limited to applications using the non-default suffix reference option. The issue is fixed in fast-uri 2.4.8, 3.1.9, and 4.2.3, and users should upgrade to one of these versions or later. As a workaround, avoid the suffix reference option on untrusted input, or percent-encode a colon in the first path segment of the result before treating it as a URI.

CVE-2026-98495 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: arp: terminate device name before lookup The ARP ioctl copies a user-provided struct arpreq into a stack object. Its arp_dev field may contain IFNAMSIZ bytes without a NUL terminator. Such input is passed to dev_get_by_name_rcu() or __dev_get_by_name(), where strcmp() can read past the end of the stack object when a matching alternative interface name exists. Terminate the field before the lookup to prevent the out-of-bounds read.
CVE-2026-63870 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ieee802154: 6lowpan: only accept IPv6 packets in lowpan_xmit() The aoe driver (or similar) generates a non-IPv6 packet (e.g., ETH_P_AOE) and queues it for transmission via dev_queue_xmit() on a 6LoWPAN interface (configured by the user or test case). Since the packet is not IPv6, the 6LoWPAN header_ops->create function (lowpan_header_create or header_create) returns early without initializing the lowpan_addr_info structure in the skb headroom. In the transmit function (lowpan_xmit), the driver calls lowpan_header (or setup_header) which unconditionally copies and uses the lowpan_addr_info from the headroom, which contains uninitialized data. Fix this by dropping non IPv6 packets. A similar fix is needed in net/bluetooth/6lowpan.c bt_xmit().
CVE-2026-98583 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: nfcmrvl: validate helper command length before pull The firmware download receive path removes the NCI data header and reads the helper command before validating the remaining packet length. A short frame can therefore reach the data access before the malformed packet is rejected. Validate the complete helper command length before stripping the NCI data header.
CVE-2026-98567 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: xps: reject an out of range traffic class Only the entries below dev->num_tc are valid in dev->tc_to_txq[], and dev->prio_tc_map[] may only name classes below it. netdev_set_num_tc() lowers dev->num_tc without touching either array. netdev_txq_to_tc() walks all TC_MAX_QUEUE slots and netdev_get_prio_tc_map() returns the entry as it stands, so a leftover entry is handed out as a traffic class >= dev->num_tc. Taking that class from netdev_txq_to_tc(), __netif_set_xps_queue() rejects only a negative one and indexes an XPS map sized for dev->num_tc classes: tci = j * num_tc + tc; RCU_INIT_POINTER(new_dev_maps->attr_map[tci], map); attr_map[] holds nr_ids * num_tc entries and j runs over the ids named in the mask, so a class that is not below num_tc pushes tci past the end of the map for the last ids and the store overruns it. Any caller that lowers num_tc leaves such entries behind, and mqprio_destroy() tears down with netdev_set_num_tc(dev, 0) rather than netdev_reset_tc(). After mqprio with 8 classes then 1, tc_to_txq[1..7] still describe txq 1..7. The splat is from an XPS write to txq 2 on a veth with 8 rx queues: attr_map[] has 8 * 1 entries, tci = j + 2, and j == 6 stores one past the end of the 88-byte map: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in __netif_set_xps_queue (net/core/dev.c:2954) Write of size 8 at addr ffff88813016bc58 by task xps_oob/634 __netif_set_xps_queue (net/core/dev.c:2954) xps_rxqs_store (net/core/net-sysfs.c:1880) netdev_queue_attr_store (net/core/net-sysfs.c:1390) Allocated by task 634: __kmalloc_noprof (mm/slub.c:5439) __netif_set_xps_queue (net/core/dev.c:2937) The buggy address is located 0 bytes to the right of allocated 88-byte region [ffff88813016bc00, ffff88813016bc58) Reject a class the map has no room for.
