CVSS v3.1 |
| sniproxy through 0.7.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in resolv_cancel() that allows remote unauthenticated attackers to crash the daemon by sending overlong hostnames. Attackers can send a 254 or 255 character TLS SNI name or HTTP Host header matching a wildcard backend, then close the connection to terminate the proxy. |
| Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in WPExperts APIExperts Square for WooCommerce woosquare allows Cross Site Request Forgery. This issue affects APIExperts Square for WooCommerce: from n/a through 4.7.5. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the connector assumed result bytes were UTF-8 but guarded only changes to character_set_client. It did not reject non-UTF-8 character_set_results changes and relied on the server's global session_track_system_variables configuration to report character-set changes. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could suppress tracking or change the result charset so application strings differed from the returned bytes, potentially defeating application-side validation or escaping that depended on the decoded values. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.10, the ReadableByteBuf.readLength() and ReadableByteBuf.readIntLengthEncodedNotNull() methods narrowed the protocol's unsigned 8-byte length-encoded integer to a Java int without checking that the value fit a non-negative integer. Values above Integer.MAX_VALUE could wrap to a negative or unrelated length that downstream allocation and read paths used. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could trigger NegativeArraySizeException, out-of-bounds failures, or oversized allocation behavior in client connection handling. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.10. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, decoders for OK packet session-state blocks, column definition packets, text row data, or binary row data used server-declared lengths without confirming that the requested bytes remained in the receive buffer. The decoders could position reads, create sub-buffers, or decode strings beyond the packet boundary. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could trigger unchecked ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException or IllegalArgumentException failures inside JDBC calls and terminate connection handling. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, when CLIENT_SESSION_TRACK was negotiated, the OkPacket.parse() and OkPacket.parseWithInfo() paths allocated byte arrays using server-declared lengths for the OK packet info field and session-state variable names and values before confirming that the bytes remained in the packet. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could send a small OK packet declaring a much larger length and repeatedly force attacker-controlled heap allocations before the subsequent copy failed. This could create garbage-collection pressure or an OutOfMemoryError in the client application. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
| Kubeflow Pipelines enables users to build and deploy portable, scalable machine learning workflows. Prior to 2.18.0, the API server decompressed uploaded pipeline archives without adequately bounding expanded data while locating or reading the pipeline file. A small ZIP or gzip-compressed tar archive can consume disproportionately large memory and exhaust API-server resources. Multipart pipeline and pipeline-version upload processing performs decompression before namespace authorization, so a reachable caller does not need a successful pipeline-create authorization decision. URL-import handlers authorize before fetching and decompressing a remote archive. The amount of expansion required to interrupt service depends on deployment resource limits and concurrent activity, and no specific archive is guaranteed to crash every deployment. This issue is fixed in version 2.18.0. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the MariaDbPoolConnection.recover() and MariaDbPoolPinnedConnection.recover() implementations trusted the gtrid_length and bqual_length columns returned by XA RECOVER. The methods allocated and split Xid byte arrays without validating the lengths against Xid.MAXGTRIDSIZE, Xid.MAXBQUALSIZE, or the actual data payload. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could cause large allocations, NegativeArraySizeException, or ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException during XA recovery. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
| pyasn1 is a generic ASN.1 library for Python. Prior to 0.6.5, binary REAL decoding builds a large mantissa one octet at a time by shifting a growing integer and slicing the remaining byte string. Attacker-controlled ASN.1 includes a binary-encoded REAL with a large mantissa and reaches BER, CER, or DER decode(), with or without a schema containing REAL. RealPayloadDecoder.valueDecoder repeatedly performs a left shift, OR, and suffix copy for every mantissa octet, making decode time quadratic in mantissa length. A comparatively small REAL value can hold a decoding worker on one CPU core for seconds or longer and cause availability loss. This issue is fixed in version 0.6.5. |
| Nuxt is an open-source web development framework for Vue.js. From 4.6.0 until 4.6.3, nuxt dev stores a generated appSecret in <buildDir>/app-secret, by default .nuxt/app-secret, within a directory allowed by Vite's server.fs configuration. A client with direct HTTP access to an exposed development server can fetch the file, use deriveSecret() to compute derived secrets such as the default useSession password, and forge session cookies accepted by that development server. The default localhost binding limits remote exposure, cross-origin browser reads are blocked, production builds and development servers with an explicitly configured appSecret are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.3. |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used BigInteger.prototype.modInverse(), bnModInverse(), lib/jsbn.js, RSA public exponent e to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's bundled jsbn implementation entered an infinite loop when BigInteger.prototype.modInverse() received a negative value or modulus. An attacker who could control the RSA public exponent passed to key generation, or a direct modInverse() operand, could block the Node.js event loop at full CPU. Parsed DER, PEM, JWK, PKCS#12, X.509, and TLS values are unsigned and cannot trigger this issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used forge.tls.createConnection(), fragmented handshake message, interleaved record to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge continued processing after a TLS record of another content type interrupted a fragmented handshake message. A remote peer could trigger an uncaught TypeError in process(), causing the connection or hosting process to fail. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. |
| PHPUnit is a testing framework for PHP. From 13.4.0 until 13.4.4, the TestCase::coverageFilesDirectory() logic in src/Runner/Phpt/TestCase.php creates temporary files for PHPT code coverage in a predictable phpunit-phpt directory under sys_get_temp_dir() and reuses that directory without verifying its ownership or permissions. On multi-user systems with a shared temporary path, a local attacker who creates the directory before the developer runs PHPT tests with code coverage can replace the generated job file before the child process executes it with require, allowing arbitrary code execution with the developer's privileges while the test and coverage report appear successful. PHPUnit 12.5 and earlier, default macOS and Windows configurations with per-user temporary directories, and single-user environments where another user cannot create files in the temporary path are not affected. This issue is fixed in 13.4.4. |
| MariaDB Connector/J is used to connect applications developed in Java to MariaDB and MySQL databases. From 3.0.0 until 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11, the ClientMessage.validateLocalFileName() check used a regular expression that could match LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE text inside quoted identifiers, string literals, or comments instead of requiring a real statement. A malicious or compromised server, or a machine-in-the-middle attacker, could return crafted database or table identifiers that the connector reused in metadata or updatable-result queries, then answer with a LOCAL INFILE request for a client file. With allowLocalInfile enabled, this caused the connector to stream any readable client-host file named by the crafted text, including through DatabaseMetaData.getImportedKeys(), DatabaseMetaData.getExportedKeys(), or ResultSet.updateRow() paths. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.7, 3.4.5, and 3.5.11. |
| Insecure Temporary File vulnerability in Mix deps.partition in Elixir allows a local user to execute code as another user via a swapped partition config file. Partitioned dependency compilation passes the project configuration to each partition VM through a file in a fixed-name directory under the shared system temporary directory, and the partition trusts what it reads back. Another local user on the same host can exploit this during a mix deps.compile run that uses partitioned compilation.
Mix.Tasks.Deps.Partition.server/4 in lib/mix/lib/mix/tasks/deps.partition.ex creates the directory with File.mkdir_p/1, which accepts an existing directory without checking its owner, so a user who created it first can replace the file before client/0 reads it.
This issue affects mix: from 1.20.0-rc.4 before 1.20.5. |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, the TarIO initializer in src/PIL/TarIO.py accepts a negative octal member size and computes a backward seek that returns to the same 512-byte header. When the requested member name does not match, the parser repeatedly reads that header, consumes a full CPU core, and never returns. TarIO is reached only when an application directly uses PIL.TarIO.TarIO rather than the default Image.open() path. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. Prior to 13.0.0, MpoImageFile.seek() and DcxImageFile.seek() reparse later MPO or DCX frames and replace self._size without rerunning Image._decompression_bomb_check(). A crafted multi-frame image can use a tiny first frame to pass Image.open() and then declare an over-limit later frame. Normal frame iteration through seek(), load(), or ImageSequence.Iterator can decode that frame and commit hundreds of megabytes or more, causing memory-exhaustion denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. |
| libcurl could accidentally return a URL for `curl_easy_getinfo()`'s
`CURLINFO_EFFECTIVE_URL` option containing credentials, even though neither
the URL provided to libcurl nor the redirected URL did. |
| When processing an HTTP redirect to a URL containing userinfo (a
`username:password` component), curl might erroneously retain and re-transmit
the original host's HTTP Negotiate authentication state. Consequently, a
malicious server can trigger a redirect containing arbitrary userinfo to force
curl to send a freshly minted Kerberos ticket—generated using the ambient
identity of the client process to an untrusted third-party host, effectively
bypassing the domain-scoping restrictions normally enforced by the absence of
`--location-trusted`. |
| A deeply nested multipart MIME structure constructed via the public API causes
a stack overflow in libcurl during normal cleanup operations. An excessive
recursion depth within `curl_mime_free` leads to unbounded stack frame
allocation during structure traversal, ultimately crashing the host process. |
