CVE-2026-35559 4 Amazon, Apple, Linux and 1 more 5 Amazon Athena Odbc Driver, Athena Odbc, Macos and 2 more 2026-10-20 6.5 Medium
Out-of-bounds write in the query processing components in Amazon Athena ODBC driver before 2.1.0.0 might allow a threat actor to crash the driver by using specially crafted data that is processed by the driver during query operations. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.1.0.0.
CVE-2026-5485 2 Amazon, Linux 3 Amazon Athena Odbc Driver, Athena Odbc, Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 7.8 High
OS command injection in the browser-based authentication component in Amazon Athena ODBC driver before 2.0.5.1 on Linux might allow a threat actor to execute arbitrary code by using specially crafted connection parameters that are loaded by the driver during a local user-initiated connection. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.0.5.1 or later.
CVE-2026-110005 2026-10-20 8.8 High
The `periphery` agent's container-management functionality of Komodo version 2.2.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability. An authenticated low-privileged user with `Execute`, or `Read` plus `Logs`, permission on a managed server can supply shell metacharacters in a container name processed by the `DestroyContainer` or `SearchContainerLog` operations. The container name is interpolated without escaping into a command executed using `sh -c`, allowing arbitrary commands to execute as root on the managed host. This permits a user without Komodo's `Terminal` permission to obtain unrestricted host-level command execution.
CVE-2026-5190 1 Aws 1 Aws-c-event-stream 2026-10-20 7.5 High
Out-of-bounds write in the streaming decoder component in aws-c-event-stream before 0.6.0 might allow a third party operating a server to cause memory corruption leading to arbitrary code execution on a client application that processes crafted event-stream messages. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 0.6.0 or later.
CVE-2026-112159 1 Jumpserver 1 Jumpserver 2026-10-20 5.5 Medium
A security vulnerability has been detected in JumpServer up to 4.10.19. The affected element is an unknown function of the component Template Rendering. The manipulation of the argument IP/HOST leads to os command injection. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. Upgrading to version 5.0.0 is sufficient to fix this issue. The identifier of the patch is fcf2904cdb884230e9676f50f37a44d09fa97040. The affected component should be upgraded. The vendor confirms: "This issue was identified quite some time ago, and we have already fixed it in the v5 branch. (...) The fix will also be included in an upcoming v4 release.
CVE-2026-86981 1 Apple 1 Macos 2026-10-20 5.5 Medium
An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination.
CVE-2026-110247 1 Mozilla 1 Thunderbird 2026-10-20 8.4 High
Several buffer-growth sites in libmime performed size arithmetic in 32-bit types without overflow checks. On a sufficiently large message the growth guard could fail open, or the buffer could be reallocated smaller than required, and a subsequent memcpy would then write attacker-controlled data across adjacent heap allocations. This vulnerability was fixed in Thunderbird 158.
CVE-2026-1961 3 Red Hat, Redhat, Theforeman 7 Red Hat Satellite 6, Enterprise Linux, Satellite and 4 more 2026-10-20 8 High
A flaw was found in Foreman. A remote attacker could exploit a command injection vulnerability in Foreman's WebSocket proxy implementation. This vulnerability arises from the system's use of unsanitized hostname values from compute resource providers when constructing shell commands. By operating a malicious compute resource server, an attacker could achieve remote code execution on the Foreman server when a user accesses VM VNC console functionality. This could lead to the compromise of sensitive credentials and the entire managed infrastructure.
CVE-2026-111217 2 Netgate, Pfsense 2 Pfsense, Pfsense 2026-10-20 7.2 High
Netgate pfSense CE through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Virtual IP edit privileges to execute commands as root by storing an unvalidated CARP VHID. Attackers can supply a VHID containing shell metacharacters that executes via interface_ipalias_configure() ifconfig calls or get_carp_interface_status() when CARP status is rendered.
CVE-2026-111218 2 Netgate, Pfsense 2 Pfsense, Pfsense 2026-10-20 7.2 High
Netgate pfSense CE 2.7.0 through 2.9.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Traffic Shaper Limiters privileges to execute root commands by tampering with the limiter number field. Attackers can submit a malicious hidden 'number' value when editing a limiter, then delete it so delete_queue() passes the unquoted value to dnctl via /bin/sh as root.
CVE-2026-85746 1 Mariadb 1 Mariadb 2026-10-20 9.9 Critical
MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, ST_AsText can write beyond an allocated output buffer when converting deeply nested GeometryCollections because recursive WKT serialization does not account for bytes consumed or reserve sufficient space. A low-privileged remote attacker can submit a specially crafted GIS object to corrupt memory and potentially achieve code execution when combined with another vulnerability. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2.
CVE-2026-112900 1 Python-pillow 1 Pillow 2026-10-20 N/A
Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 2.6.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow is vulnerable to argument injection when invoking Ghostscript for EPS input. EpsImagePlugin.Ghostscript passes a caller-controlled input filename after -f without converting it to a safe absolute path, so a name beginning with a hyphen can be interpreted as a Ghostscript option. An attacker who controls the filename can inject Ghostscript arguments. Arbitrary command execution specifically requires a leading @ argument-file filename and control of the referenced text file containing additional Ghostscript arguments; the reported chain reproduces with the default -dSAFER invocation. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0.
CVE-2026-113378 1 Mcollina 1 Mcp-ripgrep 2026-10-20 5.3 Medium
A security flaw has been discovered in mcollina mcp-ripgrep up to 0.4.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file src/index.ts of the component Advanced Search Tool. The manipulation of the argument fileType results in os command injection. The attack requires a local approach. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The code's own escapeShellArg on sibling arguments (skipped only for fileType) indicates that this is a CWE-78 oversight, not a documented design. The project maintainer cites the documentation: "This MCP server executes shell commands using the ripgrep tool. While efforts have been made to safely escape arguments, use caution when providing input, as it runs commands on your machine."
CVE-2026-98518 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/nouveau/dmem: pin VRAM for the whole registered range Commit c32287471077 ("gpu/drm/nouveau: enable THP support for GPU memory migration") grew the device-private region that nouveau_dmem_chunk_alloc() registers from DMEM_CHUNK_SIZE to DMEM_CHUNK_SIZE * NR_CHUNKS, but left the VRAM buffer object backing that region at DMEM_CHUNK_SIZE. nouveau_dmem_page_addr() returns chunk->bo->offset plus the page's offset within the registered region, so every page past the first chunk resolves to VRAM outside the buffer object. Size the buffer object to the region it backs.
CVE-2026-78384 1 Apache 1 Cxf 2026-10-20 7.5 High
CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap. A small (~KB) crafted payload could expand to gigabytes on the heap. Reachable via JWE decryption when zip=DEF (e.g. JoseSessionTokenProvider with RSA-OAEP key wrap) and via SAML redirect/POST binding token inflation — in both cases decompression happens before/independent of trust validation. Fix: Added a configurable maximum inflated-size cap (default 10 MiB, org.apache.cxf.compression-max-inflated-size system property) to CompressionUtils.inflate(); aborts with DataFormatException once exceeded. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue.
CVE-2026-98456 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-20 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: mgmt: fix race in read_unconf_index_list() read_unconf_index_list() counts unconfigured controllers before allocating its response, then checks the device flags again while filling it. hci_dev_list_lock stabilizes list membership, but it does not serialize the per-device flags. During asynchronous controller setup, the worker can set HCI_UNCONFIGURED and clear HCI_SETUP between the two passes. A controller omitted from the allocation count can then become eligible for the fill pass, causing an out-of-bounds write to rp->index[]. Allocate space for every device on hci_dev_list. Since list membership cannot change while hci_dev_list_lock is held, the response remains large enough regardless of flag transitions. The reported count and response length still include only eligible unconfigured controllers.
