CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: fix krb5 mount with username option
Customer reported that some of their krb5 mounts were failing against
a single server as the client was trying to mount the shares with
wrong credentials. It turned out the client was reusing SMB session
from first mount to try mounting the other shares, even though a
different username= option had been specified to the other mounts.
By using username mount option along with sec=krb5 to search for
principals from keytab is supported by cifs.upcall(8) since
cifs-utils-4.8. So fix this by matching username mount option in
match_session() even with Kerberos.
For example, the second mount below should fail with -ENOKEY as there
is no 'foobar' principal in keytab (/etc/krb5.keytab). The client
ends up reusing SMB session from first mount to perform the second
one, which is wrong.

| Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache Camel OAuth component.
This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.11.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1.
The camel-oauth processors that guard a route did not stop the exchange when authentication could not be completed. Where a failure to establish an authenticated session should have terminated routing and returned an error to the caller, the processors fell through and returned control to the route, so the request continued to the protected endpoint as though authentication had succeeded. The effect is a fail-open authentication guard: an unauthenticated caller reached whatever the route did next. The condition is reached on the ordinary request path of a route configured to require OAuth, and needs no special configuration or prior access on the caller's part.
Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. The processors now stop the exchange and set the appropriate error status whenever an authenticated session cannot be established, so a failed authentication no longer reaches the protected part of the route. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, place an explicit authorization check after the OAuth processor rather than relying on it to halt the exchange, and verify that the route stops on failure. |

| A security vulnerability has been detected in dotnet eShop up to 913acea66708a59595351174cee9b29f37179d29. The affected element is the function AddApplicationServices of the file src/Catalog.API/Extensions/Extensions.cs of the component Catalog API. The manipulation leads to improper authentication. The attack can be initiated remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Improper Authentication vulnerability in Apache Camel Keycloak component.
This issue affects Apache Camel: from 4.15.0 before 4.18.5, from 4.19.0 before 4.22.1.
The security processor validated the issuer of an introspected token only when the introspection response actually carried an iss claim. When the claim was absent the check was skipped rather than treated as a failure, so a token that the configured issuer did not mint could be accepted provided the introspection endpoint answered without naming an issuer. Reaching this requires an introspection endpoint that omits iss and accepts tokens from more than one issuer, which is not the default Keycloak arrangement, hence the low severity; where that arrangement exists the consequence is that the deployment authenticates a caller it should have rejected.
Upgrade to Apache Camel 4.23.0, which fixes the issue. Users on the 4.18.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.18.5. Users on the 4.22.x LTS releases stream should upgrade to 4.22.1. An absent iss claim is now treated as a validation failure rather than as a reason to skip the check. For deployments that cannot upgrade immediately, ensure the introspection endpoint returns the iss claim, and that it serves exactly one issuer. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in itsmeravitejak Online-Examination-System up to e6208e630b14657999bbfe4c9912302d2a1e2449. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Continious delivery with rolling releases is used by this product. Therefore, no version details of affected nor updated releases are available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| IBM i 7.3, 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to bypass security restrictions due to improper authentication. |
| phpMyFAQ 3.2.0 before 4.0.0 and 4.0.2 before 4.2.0-beta contains an authentication bypass in its Microsoft Entra ID login flow, which links users by the mutable preferred_username claim and whose AuthEntraId::create() ignores the duplicate-login exception while continuing with the existing local account. Attackers controlling an Entra identity in the configured tenant with a matching preferred_username can take over that local account, including super-admin accounts. |
| A vulnerability has been found in f3-factory fatfree-core up to 3.9.2. This vulnerability affects the function _curl of the file web.php of the component HTTP Client. Such manipulation leads to improper certificate validation. The attack may be performed from remote. Attacks of this nature are highly complex. It is stated that the exploitability is difficult. Upgrading to version 3.9.3 is able to resolve this issue. The name of the patch is a2c755c8dc9ad0eb7d5fd261b09aff90f649433c. You should upgrade the affected component. The vendor was contacted early, responded in a very professional manner and quickly released a fixed version of the affected product. |
| : Improper Authentication vulnerability in Unitronics Unitronics UniStream Pro/UniLogic.

| phpMyFAQ 3.2.0-alpha before 4.1.9 and 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows IdP-authenticated users to skip TOTP two-factor authentication through the Keycloak and Entra ID SSO callbacks. Attackers holding a valid or phished IdP identity linked to a 2FA-enabled account can complete the OIDC flow and obtain a fully authenticated session, including administrator accounts. |
| phpMyFAQ 4.2.0-alpha before 4.2.0-beta contains an authentication bypass vulnerability that allows Keycloak users to take over local accounts by matching preferred_username or email. Attackers controlling a Keycloak identity with a colliding username or unverified email can log in through /auth/keycloak/authorize to bind their subject and gain superadmin privileges. |
| The Appointment Booking Plugin – LatePoint | Calendar & Scheduling for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass via Race Condition in all versions up to, and including, 5.7.4. This is due to a non-atomic read-modify-write on the OTP verification attempts counter in the `verifyOTP` function: the counter is incremented using a stale in-memory value with no conditional `WHERE attempts < 10` guard on the `UPDATE` and no `SELECT ... FOR UPDATE` row lock, creating a TOCTOU window that allows concurrent requests to bypass the 10-attempt lockout. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers — who know a target customer's registered email address or phone number — to fire concurrent requests to the `auth__verify_otp` endpoint, defeat the lockout cap, brute-force the 6-digit OTP code, and authenticate as the targeted LatePoint customer, gaining full access to their account, bookings, and personal data. The nonce check present on the endpoint (`otp_verify_otp_nonce`) does not mitigate this issue, as the nonce is publicly emitted by the unauthenticated `request_otp` and `resend_otp` endpoints and is trivially obtainable by any unauthenticated attacker prior to launching the race. |
| Wukong_HRM through commit 186115e contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in ParamAspect that allows unauthenticated attackers to call every HRM API endpoint by omitting the AUTH-TOKEN header. Attackers gain HR administrator access to read payslips, salary history and employee personal data, download attachments, and modify or delete company-wide HR records. |
| FileRise is a self-hosted web-based file manager with multi-file upload, editing, and batch operations. Prior to 3.21.0, FileRise enforces disableFormLogin, disableBasicAuth, and disableOIDCLogin in the client interface but not consistently in the corresponding server-side authentication flows. A user with otherwise valid credentials for a disabled method can call its backend endpoint directly and authenticate despite the administrator's login-method policy. The flaw does not permit credential-free authentication. This issue is fixed in version 3.21.0. |
