CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability was detected in subhajitkhan online-clinic-management-system up to e9ee77a8827a1446220fa07ee693dc4d9a29a578. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file patappointtime.php of the component Booking Handler. The manipulation results in enforcement of behavioral workflow. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. The patch is identified as e9ee77a8827a1446220fa07ee693dc4d9a29a578. It is advisable to implement a patch to correct this issue. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in Windows StateRepository API allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Type confusion in FullScreen in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Vyper 0.3.8 through 0.5.0b1 contains a compiler miscompilation vulnerability in parse_IfExp that reads nested arrays with narrower inner bounds using the wider result type's memory layout. When a ternary selects the narrower array, inner arrays after the first are read at wrong offsets, causing contracts to silently store corrupted values or revert. |
| Memory safety bug fixed in Thunderbird 152. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 152, Firefox ESR 140.12, Thunderbird 152, and Thunderbird 140.12. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Mark signal tracepoint siginfo arguments as scalar
The signal_generate and signal_deliver tracepoints declare their info
argument as a struct kernel_siginfo pointer. btf_ctx_access() therefore
treats it as a trusted pointer for tp_btf programs.
Signal delivery also uses SEND_SIG_NOINFO and SEND_SIG_PRIV as special
values for this argument. Those values are zero and one respectively,
and are not pointers. A tp_btf program can currently dereference either
value and fault the kernel. In particular, signal_generate can run from
timer interrupt context, turning the fault into a kernel panic.
Record both tracepoints in raw_tp_null_args[] and mark argument one as
a non-pointer. This preserves scalar access to the cookie while rejecting
direct and helper-mediated pointer use. Merely marking it nullable would
not suffice because SEND_SIG_PRIV is nonzero. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: don't rewrite bpf_fastcall patterns entered by a jump
mark_fastcall_pattern_for_call() must ensure that matched
"spill; call; fill" instruction series is not interrupted by a jump.
Otherwise the rewrite applied by bpf_remove_fastcall_spills_fills()
is not sound.
Record the instructions targeted by jumps in
insn_aux_data[*].jump_target when the CFG is built and use this flag
to stop growing a pattern at such an instruction. Jumps to the first
spill are fine.
Note that existing insn_aux_data[*].jmp_point field can't be reused,
as it marks subprogram return instructions. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Mark NULL kptr stores precise
check_map_kptr_access() permits a scalar store into an untrusted kptr
field only when the register is known to contain zero. Unlike other
verifier checks whose outcome depends on a scalar value, it does not mark
that register precise.
A state checkpoint reached with an imprecise zero can therefore prune a
second path that reaches the store with an arbitrary nonzero scalar. The
program can write attacker-controlled bits into the kptr field and load
them back as a PTR_TO_BTF_ID.
Call mark_chain_precision() before accepting a known-zero register. This
forces state equivalence to compare its scalar range and makes the verifier
visit and reject a path carrying a nonzero value. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hwmon: (pmbus) Fix type confusion in notification logic
Sashiko reports:
At the start of the loop in pmbus_notify(), the code unconditionally casts
every attribute to a struct sensor_device_attribute:
drivers/hwmon/pmbus/pmbus_core.c:pmbus_notify() {
for (i = 0; i < data->num_attributes; i++) {
struct device_attribute *da = to_dev_attr(data->group.attrs[i]);
struct sensor_device_attribute *attr = to_sensor_dev_attr(da);
int index = attr->index;
...
}
However, data->group.attrs can contain other types like struct
pmbus_samples_reg or struct pmbus_sensor, which only embed a base
struct device_attribute.
If da is a struct pmbus_samples_reg, dev_attr is the last member. Casting
it to struct sensor_device_attribute and reading the index field appears
to access memory past the end of the allocation, which might trigger a
slab-out-of-bounds read.
Additionally, if da is a struct pmbus_sensor, casting it causes the index
field to overlap with the page, phase, and reg fields. Could this produce
a garbage mask on little-endian systems that spuriously matches the target
reg, page, and flags during an alert?
Fix the problem by using struct sensor_device_attr in struct pmbus_sensor
and struct pmbus_label. Since those attributes never trigger a
notification, set the value of attr->index to -1 for them. Use this value
to distinguish from boolean attributes which _can_ trigger a notification
and use the index field to encode mask, page, and register values. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: reject non-resident records for resident-only attributes
The shared lookup-time attribute validator rejects non-resident
$FILE_NAME and $VOLUME_NAME records because their formats require
resident values and callers handle returned records as resident
attributes. Other resident-only attribute types still pass through the
generic non-resident mapping-pairs checks.
That leaves real resident/non-resident union confusion paths. Inode load
looks up $STANDARD_INFORMATION and then reads data.resident.value_offset
without checking a->non_resident. ntfs_inode_sync_standard_information()
does the same when updating the standard information value.
ntfs_write_volume_flags() also looks up $VOLUME_INFORMATION and reads
data.resident.value_offset directly. $INDEX_ROOT callers in dir.c and
index.c depend on the same lookup contract before consuming the resident
index root value.
Reject non-resident records for all resident-only attribute types in the
shared validator. Keep the existing $FILE_NAME and $VOLUME_NAME behavior,
but factor it through a helper and extend it to
$STANDARD_INFORMATION, $OBJECT_ID, $VOLUME_INFORMATION, $INDEX_ROOT, and
$EA_INFORMATION. For $OBJECT_ID and $EA_INFORMATION this is contract
hardening for resident-only formats; this patch only rejects the
non-resident form and does not add new resident value validation for
those types. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
AppArmor: Allow apparmor to handle unaligned dfa tables
The dfa tables can originate from kernel or userspace and 8-byte alignment
isn't always guaranteed and as such may trigger unaligned memory accesses
on various architectures. Resulting in the following

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: nSVM: Always use NextRIP as vmcb02's NextRIP after first L2 VMRUN
For guests with NRIPS disabled, L1 does not provide NextRIP when running
an L2 with an injected soft interrupt, instead it advances the current RIP
before running it. KVM uses the current RIP as the NextRIP in vmcb02 to
emulate a CPU without NRIPS.
However, after L2 runs the first time, NextRIP will be updated by the CPU
and/or KVM, and the current RIP is no longer the correct value to use in
vmcb02. Hence, after save/restore, use the current RIP if and only if a
nested run is pending, otherwise use NextRIP. Give soft_int_next_rip the
same treatment, as it's the same logic, just for a narrower use case.
[sean: give soft_int_next_rip the same treatment] |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: ethernet: mtk_eth_soc: pass eth to mtk_handle_irq_rx in poll_controller
mtk_handle_irq_rx expects a struct mtk_eth * (matching the request_irq
cookie), but mtk_poll_controller incorrectly passed the net_device *.
Calling ndo_poll_controller with CONFIG_NET_POLL_CONTROLLER enabled
would then crash. |

drm: renesas: rz-du: mipi_dsi: fix kernel panic when rebooting for some panels
Since commit 56de5e305d4b ("clk: renesas: r9a07g044: Add MSTOP for RZ/G2L")
we may get the following kernel panic, for some panels, when rebooting:
systemd-shutdown[1]: Rebooting.

ili9881c_unprepare+0x38/0x88
drm_panel_unprepare+0xbc/0x108
This happens for panels that need to send MIPI-DSI commands in their
unprepare() callback. Since the MIPI-DSI interface is stopped at that
point, rzg2l_mipi_dsi_host_transfer() triggers the kernel panic.
Fix by moving rzg2l_mipi_dsi_stop() to new callback function
rzg2l_mipi_dsi_atomic_post_disable().
With this change we now have the correct power-down/stop sequence:
systemd-shutdown[1]: Rebooting.

| DBI versions before 1.656 for Perl crash via type confusion in dbi_profile when a database handle is destroyed under a Profile Path with an {attr} element.
An {attr} element names a database handle attribute, which dbi_profile reads from the handle's inner hash. It expects the inner handle as a reference and dereferences it, but a handle that is being destroyed hands back the inner hash itself, so the dereference yields the hash's bucket array. A type check on that pointer usually fails and the call goes unprofiled. When the memory it addresses passes the check, the attribute lookup dereferences a NULL or invalid pointer and the process dies on SIGSEGV.
The Path is set by the application, by the Profile handle attribute, or by the DBI_PROFILE environment variable, so `DBI_PROFILE={ImplementorClass}` can crash an unmodified program. |
| Plex Media Server before 1.43.3.10861 does not correctly neutralize URL values included in 'searchOne,' allowing an attacker to call other plugins' functions and supply their own parameters. |
| A logic issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in Safari 27, visionOS 27, watchOS 27. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to unexpected behavior. |
| Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in RPC Runtime allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| For XSA-308 logic was introduced, as VMX VMEntry checks do not like the
exact combination of state which occurs when #DB in intercepted, Single
Stepping is active, and blocked by STI/MovSS is active, despite this being
a legitimate state to be in. The resulting VMEntry failure is fatal to
the guest.
Sadly there is another special sub-case of the above, with branch tracing
enabled. In that case the prior adjustment would still cause a VMentry
failure, as before fatal to the guest. |
